Nothing is good, trust me.

Hot water in the bathroom is so muddy. It has black sediment inside hot water, causing hot water pressure is very unstable. Sometimes it is cold as cold water and suddenly rise up to boiling hot. After room changing the problem persist. The hot water problem causing me allergies on my skin and get light burn on my baby body because of the fluctuations of temperature. Everything inside the hotel is so old and outdated. You cannot imagine TV in the room is not HD. The water slides you see in the picture is ten years ago, it is not as beautiful as you see. Overall, nothing is good, waste of money, DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Plenty of choice

It had everything. Pools, restaurants, bars, excellent buffet breakfast and the VIP room was the icing on the cake.

It really needs refurbishing A lot of mosquitoes in the room (not normal) You cannot order from the tables near the pool, you have to stand up and get your orders (this is normal in other resorts). The food is not wow but they have a nice pizzeria. It is somehow open so it is not that I felt unsafe… but it is difficult for me to understand that anyone can just walk around the pool because it has entrances or vía de restaurants etc The beach is super dirty but this is not the hotels fault… the sea is just bringing back a lot of garbage back

Location is good, direct access to the beach, and the hotel was well equipped with nice pools. All staff were helpful.

We are a big group of families and 10 of us adults and children got bacteria severe sickness and in the hospital inform us it’s mainly from animals unfortunately the hotel didn’t agree on this without checking with the hospital the funny thing they recommended the hospital for us

The facilities and the garden and the animals and the swimming pool were all exceptional and SO RECOMMENDED!

There are no activities for kids such as foam party and games by the pool like other hotels in Karon. There isn’t any shuttle bus to drive you nearby places neither a golf cart to drop you by the gate although the hotel is big and it needs that kind of facility just like other big resorts I’ve stayed in previously. The showers are also not that strong, the beds aren’t too comfortable and the buildings need renovation.

Huge hotel in front of Karon beach with fun waterslides for everyone to enjoy, 3 pools, plus a petting zoo, great value Thai cooking class, big b’fast buffet & a lovely secret garden amongst their lush gardens & friendly staff. There was some renovating happening during the day but quiet at night with good block out curtains & A/C. They made my husband feel special staying there for his 50th b’day too. Would recommend Thavorn to families.

We found the food at their Ciao Italian restaurant disappointing

Great location and beautifully presented resort and facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and everything was very well maintained and clean.

The buffet style dining does not appeal to me, but this is a personal thing. Also, an airconditioned option for the main dining/breakfast area would have been beneficial.

The pools were lovely, great location across from the beach and walking distance to shops. Tuk tuk usually parked out the front to get around. The staff at breakfast made extra effort to help with our allergies. The petting zoo was cute.

For the price the stay was quite disappointing. We paid $700 Aud per night for a family room and would have expected it to be very luxurious. It had an obstructed view to the beach, but the rooms are very old and outdated and need a lot of renovations, especially the bathrooms. It was very very far to reception and the dining room and the street noise including loud tuk tuks playing music made sleeping impossible. Even with the mattress toppers the beds are very hard. Reception did move our location to a quieter spot but the room was the same.

We loved the location and amenities of the resort. We spent 9 nights and our kids were happy to have hotel days. We had an family interconnected room, perfect for our family of 5 as one child was able to sleep on the day bed.

The rooms underneath us were being renovated so it was very noisy, Jack hammers and power tools for hours a day which meant no relaxing i our room after a morning day trip.

That staff was nice and helpful.

I didn’t like the awful smell in our Duplex infinity pool suite. We had to change rooms 3 times within 5 days. They tried to get rid of moldy or whatever that smell was and put some chemicals in the drainage but the smell of that chemical made my kids really sick. My 14 years old son was throwing up and my 5 years old daughter had a headache. However all of us had a trouble to breathe while we were on the ground floor. Also water pressure was pretty horrible it was almost impossible to shower because after 3 minutes using a shower there wasn’t any water left.

Very clean, super friendly staff would definitely stay again
