Room furniture (drawers etc) could do with an update and maybe a drawer in the beside tables.

Rooms are very peaceful and quiet and the gardens are well maintained. Breakfast was always very fresh with more than enough choice.

Fourth stay at The Leaf on the Sands, very well located, staff are all very friendly, swimming pools are great, pool bar and breakfast are too. A certain charm to this hotel in the lovely area of Khao-lak

Grounds were a little untidy. It seemed there was only one man for gardening for quite a large property.We felt sorry for him!

Pools were great. There's a "quiet pool" and a "fun pool". At this time of year we didn't have any trouble finding a sun lounge. Lots of restaurant options nearby. Really good value for money.

The only negative would be the hotel could do with a tidy up, the grounds were kept clean and well maintained, however, for example, the cleaning trolley for the rooms was left in the corridor each day/evening, and old towels were being used to cover wires which run across hallways and passageways. Very minor negative and didn't take away from the positives.

As a family we loved the size of the hotel, it was small so didn't feel too busy. The staff were very helpful and attentive during our stay. The pools were lovely, we had read reviews stating older guests didn't appreciate children making noise around the pool(s) but we didn't experience this. Very good value for money in a great location.

The rooms were in need of an update and the view from the balcony was not very nice. The nearest beach, which you could reach via a shortcut, was quite ok but not the best for swimming. There are much more beautiful beaches nearby and further north.

The hotel location was good, close to the city center and services. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room price level was reasonable. The breakfast was quite adequate, at least for us.

Villa was large and comfortable and the gardens were very well maintained and felt very relaxing. Good breakfast and excellent dining in the Italian themed restaurant. Staff were very helpful.

Actually loved staying here. Pool was great, location was great - short walk to the beach (which we loved - really quiet, lots of fish in the rock pools and also saw a heron!) we ate at Go Pong about 5 mins down the main street most nights. Quiet location but busy enough to enjoy a meal and a drink each night. We also enjoyed our balcony/terrace and spent a lot of time playing games out here on an evening.

Could have had a few more vegetarian alternatives at the breakfast but still some good options.

The facilities were super clean and spacious. The whole place had a very relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, despite being in walking distance to the main street. The staff were all very friendly and it was lovely to have an individual/private bungalow style room!
