Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

NorwaySmall portions in the restaurant, pricy and average taste (the restarant close to the pools). (There are other, much cheaper and good restaurant on the island, about 15 min walk, check on the map) Quite expensive drinks in the bar. I think we payed something like 10$ for two coffees and they were poor, so I would't waste money on it. My partner got a hair in his coctail. It was replaced, but still..
Absolutely amazing hotel, just as beautiful as on the pictures, huge room, above all our expectation, and AMAZING for the price. Beautiful pools. Stunning view over the sea from the terrase. We were a bit worried about getting to/from the hotel, but the transfer from Phuket and back was simple and well organized. We also got free bikes and had a little ride around the island. Breakfast was nice, with several options. Japanese food restaurant was good. We had few requests that were fulfilled. Friendly staff. We had an amazing time here.

JerseyAt the time we went there were a lot of jelly fish, so swimming in the sea wasn’t an option. Even though the resort put on free transfers to and from the island every hour, during low tide the public pier had to be used at Laem Hin and also long tail boats (rather than the hotels own transfer boat). There was a lack of staff and information at the public pier so you were left to your own devises to work out where to go to get a boat across to the resort. This was in stark contrast to the hotels own “reception” area on the mainland which was well run, and comfortable when waiting for the boat transfer to the resort.
The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean resort with an excellent selection of food and good facilities.

United Arab EmiratesSea is dirty and a lot of jellyfish. If you are booking this hotel be ready that you will be swimming only in the pool. Shortage of sun beds. After 10am very difficult to find sunbed, especially in the shadow. Strange, it is island hotel, what else people supposed to do?
Amazing food, service and very nice island are! Free boat to the mainland and friendly staff. Good rooms - enough space and very clean.

AustraliaThe app does not work - we tried messaging the staff through the app regarding our wifi but we did not get a reply. Also tried to contact the spa using the app but nobody answered. Better to just call using the room telephone. Not able to swim on the beach due to jellyfishes. However, the resort does offer a free boat trip to its neighbouring island if you do wish to swim on the beach.
Clean facilities and good amenities, great service and friendly staff. A lot of activities to do on the island. Easy boat booking process to go to and from the mainland.

CanadaLocation was a bit inconvenient given that the water taxis only go every hour. Also we stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned our room. Cleaning staff came by around 6pm the night before we left and we told them not to bother.

CanadaThree restaurants for dinner gets a bit boring over a two week stay, but the food is really good. The sushi restaurant is beautiful with great service and tasty food, but pretty expensive (particularly for Thailand). Very isolated location, so a bit tricky to visit other parts of Phuket. If you don’t want to explore this is a perfect location. Beach is nice but there were at least 100 jellyfish washed up on the floor every day.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, great restaurants, good gym, great pools and nice beach. Rooms are really nice.

CanadaThey kept turning off the water to our room. It was extremely inconvenient as the first time I was in the middle of brushing my teeth and the second time, my husband was in the middle of showering. This was a huge blemish on an otherwise flawless stay.
Beautiful property with good restaurants, pools and spa. Loved the free water taxi service, staff were very helpful, room was clean. Talen, the Bartender at the Beach Club, makes the best banana daiquiris!

United States of AmericaThe resort is quite dated. They have done a lot of work on the main areas, which are gorgeous, but our villa was just okay - definitely needs a refresh. The villa next to us was under construction and was pretty unsightly. However, the front desk staff were very willing to work with us to change rooms if we'd wanted to. Getting to the island is a bit tricky, and the staff needs to do a better job of communicating through the arrival process. We had to be shuttled to another pier to take a long boat to the island, and no one told us anything. It was confusing and a little unsettling because our bags were left behind, etc. Just needs to be better communicated what is going on. The island itself is pretty sleepy and not a ton to do there - great place to relax but not much else. Price is high for Thailand.
Very relaxing setting, friendly staff, great food. Loved the beachfront buffet breakfasts. Gorgeous view from our villa. Loved our private pool, the tennis courts, access to bikes to go around the island. The spa was also fabulous! Great little seafood restaurant with massages just a short walk down the beach.

AustraliaYou cannot swim in the water because it’s full of jellyfish and it has a brown layer, when I took the bath and drained the water brown rocks came out and the shower didn’t drain properly. Music on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm was too loud in my opinion. When I put our towels on the bed and went to the pool I came back with people on our sunbeds so moved to other ones. Menu for the 4 restaurants limited in my opinion Paid 55 bath for a small bottle of water
Room was clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff was nice but not everyone spoke English, especially the staff who works on the beach. You can do a lot of activities for free. Breakfast buffet huge but lack of flavours. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and it’s amazing

Some times the tide will make it hard to do some water sports, and the i was very sad that I could not played volleyball ☹️.
