Tranquil and peaceful location in Kanchanaburi. Surrounded by nature, yet not too far from the city center. Swimming pool and garden area was wonderful, perfect water temperature, lush plants. Bed: soft, large and comfortable. Room: large, comfortable and well equipped.

It's better to travel in winter, I was there in summer the weather is extremely hot. hotel is quite old but still one of the best in town.

Location is not too far from the city. swimming pool is clean but quite hot in the day time. facility is good but the bed is not comfortable. room is quite old but still ok.

The villa was great with amazing views (we changed to a private pool villa). Staff were very friendly and nice - some difficulty in communicating in english but nothing google translate couldn’t solve.

Food options were not that great. Be careful of anything with "basil" - it is very spicy. Only encountered that at this hotel. Basil everywhere else in Thailand was pleasant (but not European basil taste).

(I think) the shower heater needed to a bit more water pressure to switch on/off. So some part of the time we had to choose between too hot and no power at all because of the safety switch in the water heater. They might want to look at that, but our room was at the very end of the alley. I recommend going there by (rental) car.. The town is not far, but out of walking distance. There are a few very nice restaurants on the road side in between though.

It's a very nice place. We had the more expensive room with private swimming pool (including a waterfall that you can switch on for approx. 15 minutes per click on the button). If you go there in a super hot season or with children, then the swimming pool will be perfect to have, but we where there in raining season and of course the pool doesn't get that warm then. But also inside, and on the patio outside it is very nice place to hang out and have a little party and fun. Very large room, good TV and coffee/tea set. A desk you could do some laptop work on as well, which is important to me. The beds are nicely soft and, they put decent effort in the place to ensure privacy through high walls between swimming pools of different rooms. It is a very nice place for both couples and families.

The sockets are worn out so you struggle yo charge a phone. Nit a lot of sockets....nothing at the bedside except for the bedside lamp and even that socket is worn out.

The villa is somewhat old, the shower room, the wall is not clean I found a large type of spider in the shower room His size scared me, so I grabbed him with a towel and threw him out of the villa I kept it a secret from my girlfriend for not freaking out

Facilities are very tired with dodgy repairs especially in the bathroom with mould in shower and several cracked tiles. The waterfall pool the main attraction for this villa was disappointing. The drainage around the pool was incorrect and not flowing away resulting in pooling, green slim was forming in these pools and very slippery. The waterfall was on a timer resulting in having to get out of the pool every 5 mins and reset. I don't believe the pool or pool area was cleaned during our stay. We stayed in the off season and was supplied a restricted breakfast but surprisingly over the weekend with a few extra guests there was more options. It's a shame this facility has so much potential, with a little more attention to maintenance and pool care this could be a exceptional premise.

There wasn't anything missing, but the breakfast could offer more variety. Overall, the breakfast buffet spread was quite nice.

I have stayed at the Vista Pool Villa twice already, and I am looking forward to returning for a third visit soon. I love the atmosphere; it is very quiet and serene. Everything is top-notch, and I can't wait to stay again at the Vista Pool Villa.

The rooms were relatively clean, the overall maintenance of the property was lacking. The place appears run-down, with visible signs of neglect such as peeling paint and broken fixtures scattered throughout the premises. There was no room around the private swimming pool to lounge. Additionally, we encountered cockroaches and other bugs in the room, and there were spiderwebs in the bathroom, indicating poor housekeeping standards. The gym equipment was in terrible condition; some machines had damaged cabling, making them not only unusable but also a safety hazard. The breakfast was extremely limited, and to make matters worse, guests are expected to prepare their own coffee using instant packages. The hotel’s location is another downside—far from the city and with limited access to taxis, making it inconvenient to get around.

Breakfast is a bit lacking even when it's sunday morning. Bed/pillow feel a bit hard to me.

Staffs are really really nice. The room are fine. But I encounter some unexpected problem in the first night and the staff relocated me to the other (upgraded) room type, which is even better.

Away from it all in the middle of nowhere, which was great apart from restaurant was closed and we weren’t advised, We had to breakfast in our room. Dinner was also brought to our room one night but the next night we went to order and were told kitchen closed at 8. If we had known we could have ordered earlier. This left us miles from any restaurants with no food! Outside area was beautiful apart from nowhere comfortable to sit,cushions on benches etc. which would have meant we could enjoy the countryside. A few cushions and a couple of chairs would easily solved this and made it a most beautiful stay.
