Room did not have windows, there was a big one in bathroom but closed off with bamboo and a panel of the glass was missing Sauna was advertised but filled with building material

The rooms and bathroom seemed old and outdated. No plugs near the bed and the bathroom shower leaked all over the place and flooded the floors.

Breakfast could’ve been better. As an Englishman, my standard for an English breakfast is rather high. Not enough on the plate. There should be baked beans, and the toast shouldn’t be rock hard and cold. The toast should be the very last thing prepared as to remain warm enough for the butter to melt on it. I also did not appreciate some family’s two annoying children being obnoxious around the Koi pond. They were feeding the fish chips and mayonnaise off a sharp stick. The girl eventually (and predictably) fell in the pond which was hilarious and served her right. Parents didn’t even take her for a shower. Just kept drinking beer and wiped her with some paper towel despite her being covered in dirty pond water. Would not be surprised if she got sick from that, which is a major health hazard. Staff should’ve told the children off for interfering with the beautiful fish, and warned the parents to keep their children on a leash as to not bother other people.

The pool & pool table were very welcome. Reception girl was lovely and checking-in was easy. Dining & cocktail area was beautiful and I was a big fan of the Koi pond.

Building is old, so bathrooms are a bit dodgy, stairs are steep, no views from either room our group stayed in, just alleyways and trash so curtains stayed closed.

Location is amazing, not too noisy but close to the nightlife and transport options, Macaroni Club restaurant adjoins and is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the more expensive rooms are significantly nicer than the cheaper ones, pool area is nice, would definitely stay again in this price bracket.

The staff was certainly not the friendliest we came across. Reception staff were very good, restaurant staff were awful! To be served first thing in the morning by very unfriendly and rude staff is definitely not a good holiday feel. Each morning and throughout the day, it was the same service we got. Definitely something to work on Villa Cha Cha

Hotel is clearly old and is in a need of a renovation. We had two windows: one had a pool view, the other was facing a concrete wall. You can't access all floors with an elevator. Generally does not feel as clean as it could be.

Location was perfect, just a stone throws away from Khao San road. Swimming pool was also good for a little pre-evening dip or during the day chill.

The room was poor. Only one socket in the room, which didn’t work so we had to use the one in the bathroom to charge our phones. If you’re staying for a few days you don’t get a change of towels and our room was infested with bugs 😞
