How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewComfy bed, big room, air conditioning, lots of natural light. The host was kind and helped with location issues using the map on grab taxis as I arrived. Would suggest just using the map option to locate it when travelling there from another place.

Verified reviewThe location is not the best if you're looking to be closer to the action in the city, but I loved it here. My main objective was the Tiger's cave mountain and for that the host landed me a bicycle to get there that made the whole experience even better, besides I woke up with the birds, which was convenient because I wanted to wake up early anyways. It is a green a relaxed area in the surroundings, the host gave me some good tips to spend the rest of my day in Krabi and I had a great time!

Verified reviewAfter the craziness city of Phuket, this place was the heaven for us, was exactly what we were looking for, right in middle of mountains. The location for us was amazing! And Pop she is incredibly beautiful person, she will guide and provide you with everything you need. If you rent a scooter you can do a lot of things. I definitely recommend this place, avoiding the crowds and expensive areas around Krabi. Thanks Pop, hope see you soon ☺️

Verified reviewFairly close to the airport, roughly 80 Baht by taxi. Bus terminal is also nearby. Very quiet area at night. Elephant sanctuary just up the hill, however, be sure to check opening and losing times. Super friendly host who answered all my questions and gave great recommendations; thank you Pop!
Can be a little tricky to navigate when arriving late at night. Not very many good options for restaurants around the area. Beaches were also quite a ride away, but well worth it, once arriving.

Verified reviewThe room was clean, but the blanket looked like it was not washed for a long time, so i just asked her sheet and used the sheet to cover. Pop helped to find a scooter because it's very far from the city center, unreal to walk. Also, neighbors have scary dogs, they are not friendly, scary to walk there.
Beds old and very hard. Old building not painted well. Noise in the morning. Location very far from center and everything, need to drive a lot. After I stayed in the city center and I liked it more. Overpriced too much for the simple room. Feels like in a free government village hospital.
With reference to your feedback : 1. Regarding bed ..after your check out we ordered new Teakwood bed twin bed and replaced earlier iron bed with new real teakwood bed and also new mattress in our Extra Large Twin Bed Room. 2. Regarding location our hostel is located at the center from: a. Airport 10 minutes drive approx 5 kilometres b. Wat Tham Seau famous tourist attraction, Big C Mall, Lotus Mall just 10 minutes walking distance between 1 to 2 kilometers from our hostel location c. Town center approx 6 kilometres just 10 minutes driving distance and songthaew public transport available at only 20 thai bhat from near our location. d. Aonang Beach around 30 minutes driving distance and songthaew public transport cost approx 100 thai bhat. e. Krabi Bus Terminal only 5 minutes drive from our hostel. Moreover you were lucky to get our rooms at much lower rates during peak christmas and new year week while all other hotels very at much higher price and most not available during that week. And had you conveyed your concerns during your stay we would have been happy to given you refund for full week booking which you could have better utilized with another hotel for dorm room with shared bathroom available at your budget during that week while we offered you private Extra Large Twin Room with private bathroom. It is unfortunate that we cannot meet your expectations.

Verified reviewThe hostess/owner, Ms. Pop is very friendly and helpfull, we enjoyed her company a lot. She speaks English pretty good, which often makes things easier. The entire place is really clean and the rooms are spacious, the biggest we had on our trip. Pop also let us use her two bikes, so we could visit the nearby Temple of the Tiger cave. She als does airport shuttle service, at a very reasonable price. Her place is also very near to the airport, yet there is no noise disturbance whatsoever.
She only started this hostel not too long ago and as time goes by she will have more rooms available. The decoration of the rooms is still very basic, but she will definately make thing more cosy and hotels in the near future. The location is not nice, nor beautiful. She can't change that, you'll have to look around that. The appearance of the hostel will improve too, just give her time 😉

Verified reviewThe host is a lovely woman who is so helpful! As soon as I arrived, she gave me lots of tips as to how I could visit the places on my itinerary. You can borrow a bicycle for free and she can arrange a taxi driver for a very good price if necessary. When I checked out to change to the Aonang area, she dropped me off at the bus stop, which was so kind!! The room had everything I needed; bottled water which she replenished every day, toiletries, towel, a fan and a kettle with coffee. The shower had hot water. Everywhere was very clean. The WiFi worked perfectly. It's right near the tiger cave temple and near a bus stop to get a bus to the city to visit other attractions.
The water and electricity was cut off for a day but this was completely out of the hosts control, as there were roadworks nearby. I really like that she let me know beforehand, so I could shower and fill up a water bucket to wash the next morning. It didn't affect me at all because the host prepared me :)

Verified reviewThis hostel exudes warmth and care, with a personable host who truly values her guests. She reflects a genuine care for the comfort and satisfaction of visitors, making for a memorable and welcoming stay. The mattress was very comfortable and seemed new and the room was spacious. It even had a fridge!
Without AC it can get hot but I put the portable fan that was provided right next to the bed and I slept very comfortably.
