Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandThere isn't really much to criticize here.
I travel a lot - particularly around South-East Asia and I normally don't write reviews for the places I stay. I'm going to make an exception here because I enjoyed it so much. Wealth Boutique is small, which I like. It means you'll get a peaceful stay and won't be competing for amenities. The room is large, modern and clean. The bed is enormous and very comfortable. I was a bit sad to leave as it was better than my bed at home and I was getting such good sleep. Pillows, linen and towels were all very luxurious and immaculately clean. The rooms have true blackout curtains, which helps if you want to sleep in. The Thai sun can be pretty intense. The bathroom is a good size, and has an actual shower door. I've stayed in a lot of places that just have a wet-room setup. I hate them as the water gets everywhere. I want to call out the quality of the setup for working. I travel and work as I go, so my priorities are to get good internet and comfortable working conditions. The internet here is the best I've seen from a hotel in Asia in terms of speed - sitting around 250mb/s. The location is the Old Town wasn't so important to me when I was booking, but found it put me in the center of a bunch of interesting markets and tourist spots. There's a Saturday market a few minutes south of you, a Sunday market a few minutes north. You're surrounded by the various Wat's - all within walking distance. I spent 10 days wandering around the heart of Chiang Mai using this place as a base. The breakfast is excellent. Because it's a small hotel, they don't put on a buffet - they give you a little form to fill out and you check all the things you'd like to eat and drink. It covers western and some Asian options. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, bread, waffles, pancakes etc.. It was always cooked well and delivered quickly. The coffee in particular was excellent and consistently so.

MalaysiaNothing!
The location. It was slightly off the bigger roads of old town which means lesser traffic but still very near to attractions. Saturday Night market was 400m away. Nearest 7 Eleven is about 30m away. Lila Spa (highly recommended!) is 20m away. Laundry is opposite 7 Eleven. Love the location! My stay came with bfast. And although it’s the same menu each time, I appreciate it’s freshly made. Refer to pics posted.

There was complimentary fruit and plenty of drinking water in the fridge. The location was great and very near our favourite restaurants ( Kats kitchen and magic masala). United StatesA wonderful small, modern hotel (12 rooms). The staff were very helpful no matter our questions. The pool was perfect after a hot day walking. The cafe and breakfast were excellent. The room, 204, was spacious, had great black out curtains, and the very best aspect was it was very quiet - no noise from other rooms or the street. The room's balcony was nice in the evening.
