Staff were very accommodating and friendly, rooms felt very clean and setting was idyllic.

Perhaps not the most ideal place to stay during the low season as it is quite isolated from most open amenities, especially if you do not want to hire a scooter. Not a property issue, though!

-Very friendly staff. -Great breakfast and large taste dinner portions, the fruit juices are really delicious and large. -Very nice location right on the Long beach. We counted 30 people on the beach at the max, so just Perfect. -Beautiful sunset from the bar and restaurant area. -Quiet but a lot of excotic "jungle" sounds. Birds and so on. - Great sun block products to buy, in the reception area. - Home made brew of a very good quality. Even home brewed pineapple "champagne" and ciders. - Several very interesting people to meet there. Adventureous people. The Ziggy Stardust Resort on Koh Phayam, really made our trip to Thailand! Highly recomendable.

    - A bit hard matresses and pillows (we are Europeans :) ) but this is Thai style we guess. - We stayed in low season, so some more accurate information about the speed boat times in low season, would be recomended. We nearly lost our connection flight in Ranong due to this.

hotel manager was incredibly helpful with our complicated transportation requirements when leaving the island. She arranged everything and we are very grateful! Beyond that staff always tried to be helpful and accommodating to ensure out stay was pleasurable.

Incredible location and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

It was noisy. Lots of families with small babies. Would have appreciated if there had been a more family friendly area of bungalows. No one cleaned our room for 5 days either.

It was the second time we stayed at Ziggy and we really enjoy its central location on the long beach and the staff is very nice as usual. Bed is comfortable! The new breakfast buffet is very good (I would just suggest to not put fruit and onions in the same department :)

The price we paid was not reasonable and really not worthy the small and out-dated room in the shared bungalow house. We had to take it since the island was booked out, but it felt not fair to pay this much and ruined a bit the vibe this island stands for. We received much more value (whole bungalows with huge terraces and clean and bigger hangout spaces) for the same price on other resorts the days before that we also booked spontaneously.

Unfortunately, we cannot assess the quality of this accommodation in detail, as we were unable to make use of our four-day booked and paid stay. However, we can share our shocking experience regarding the customer service and family-friendliness of this resort. We booked one of the small, beautiful wooden bungalows for our last four vacation days for 2,700 Baht (approx. €78) including breakfast, as our five-year-old daughter sleeps on a small mattress we bring with us, and we therefore do not need a large family room. As always on our trips in Thailand, we booked the bungalow for two adults via Booking.com. In a few accommodations, a small additional fee for our daughter is requested upon arrival, which is acceptable. The usual surcharge for a child in this resort is 500 Baht per night, which is around €15. However, upon arrival, this accommodation did not ask for the usual 500 Baht but instead demanded 1,500 Baht (€43) per night extra, just so our daughter could sleep on our brought-in mattress in the small bungalow. The owner justified this price by saying that we had not registered our daughter in advance when making the booking. This amounts to a surcharge of more than 50% of the already paid bungalow price—without any additional service (as we brought the mattress ourselves)! Aside from the fact that the bungalow price was already relatively high (this was our fifth stay on Ko Phayam), we could not understand this surcharge and reasoning in the slightest, especially since our booking method had never been an issue at any other resort. Since we refused to pay this excessive surcharge, we had no choice but to find another accommodation. We did not receive any refund from the already paid amount (€309). We are absolutely shocked and disappointed by this experience, and we have never encountered anything like this before.

Great location, clean bungalows, generous and varied buffet breakfast, lovely staff

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me (just a personal preference, I prefer a firmer mattress and pillows)

This property was absolute perfection from the details in the bungalows to the specifically curated menu. And then the staff was just top-notch! The location of the property was close to other bars and restaurants along the beach that allowed for a variety of options when it came to entertainment. The staff was so kind., especially Bom, who went out of his way to help me with anything that I had asked. The breakfast was amazing every morning, and the pineapple and mango smoothies were the best on the island (and I tried one at nearly every spot I went to). The eco-conscious aspect of this property, including the most amazing body and hair products really made staying here in extraordinary experience. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

There was nothing that I did not like about the property. I would stay here again.

Well set up bungalows, has aircon but also fan and fly screens on windows so can open windows. Security box, hot water, good size balcony, hose at base of steps to wash feet, hammock on balcony. The bed has mattress topper on it so very comfortable. The resort has a lot of trees so all areas well shaded including restaurant which overlooks the beach. Breakfast has good selection and menu is varied. Staff are excellent, will be returning.

Mosquitos are full on at sunset but staff supplied spray.

Top location. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable accommodation. Tasty and varied breakfast was a big bonus.

Nothing about Ziggy itself, but there sure were some grumpy tourists! Walk right past without a smile or hello. How? At such a relaxed place. Anyway enough of my rant! I loved it.
