United KingdomThere was no bath plug … but frankly if that kind of thing freaks you out … what the hell are you doing travelling in Africa? Personally I used a glass and made a gasket out of bog paper - worked a treat!
We enjoyed our stay in the magnificent old building. The view was great and the location was perfect. There’s clearly a lot of history associated with the hotel, and the Jazz festival, and it gives off an air of slightly decaying grandeur.

United KingdomThe room was near reception so could hear other guests and staff talking for hours and early in the morning too. The room we were in was great but in need of redecoration soon.
Breakfast and Dinner were local and wonderful. Plenty of tasty food and served what we wanted. Room was in the old building and while tired and in need of decoration was comfortable and clean. Huge balcony for our room with view over the pool to the town. Parking was easy and hotel was easy to find.
