Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLess than 5 mins walk to the train station, 5 mins to the Medina and 15 mins walk to Archaeological Museum. Short taxi ride to louage and bus stations. Many restaurants nearby for breakfast. Chilly room at night (January) but hot shower. Balcony overlooks pedestrianised street. Helpful staff.

Nice little hotel in a quiet side street. The room was big, had a balcony and was clean. Very reasonable price. The location is about half way between the medina and the beach and easily walkable.

SwitzerlandThe staff were okay but not very helpful.
Very central between Medina and beach in a quiet(ish) side road. Handy to use the Sousse Palace Hotel as a pickup for excursions. The room was a good size, had a little balcony overlooking the street and the shower was nice and hot. Great value for money and much better than the silos along the road if you want to do some exploring. Great value for money.

GermanyFor sure not upscale furniture that saw its better times, but great value for money and spacious with a balcony.
A decent location, not directly in the Medina, but it means you can ask your taxi driver to drive you there directly, while Medina is for pedestrians only. Medina and the train station within the walking distance. If you want to use a shared mini-van/taxi called a luage you need to take a taxi to the location, but these are metered and affordable in Tunisia. Beach holiday district is more to the north. In the street places with local, not "for tourists" prices. Not directly at the main road, so some silence provided for sleeping. WiFi also in the rooms.

CanadaIt is a modest hotel, and you should expect what you are paying for. However, I think expecting a shower and toilet that work properly is a reasonable expectation. The toilet flash didn't work, and every time, it needed manual help! For the shower, the water came from all around but not where it was designed to come.
The location is great, rooms are big enough and i liked its old-fashioned style.

TunisiaThe hotel is situated in the centre of Sousse, close to Medina and a bus station. There are a lot of bank offices and different stores nearby, for a example, Monoprix. The furniture in the hotel is simple but comfortable. The lobby has very nice design. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help

United StatesStayed 4 nights and no service was done to room. I didn’t ask as I didn’t overly care but for those that do. Bathroom in room was a wet bath not a tub, no water pressure or hot water.
Location was super convenient. Short walk to the beach one way, short walk to Medina and train station the other. Staff was friendly.

United StatesI cannot be too critical about this place. The location was great and the price was phenomenal. It also appeared as though everything was very clean. The room had no frills and the internet was not the best, but the price was such that I can overlook that.

RomaniaI'd like a lot that is very near to the train station like 2 minutes walking, near to the Medina like 3 minutes walking, and about 7 minutes to the public beach. The room is clean 🫧, but to the reception was writed that the water stops in all Tunisia between 00-07.00. Also a plus is the fact that the bed 🛏️ lingerie was white and clean. You have to ask for toilet paper to the reception, because they don't put it, because they don't clean 🧹 the room day by day. The hotel area has lots of restaurants near.
