Goreme is a fantastic tourist destination and a must see when in Turkey. The pre-paid Booking.com transfer service just never turned up at the airport or even communicated with us, resulting in us having to take a private taxi atr a substantial premium. I would strongly recommend the airport shuttle service. Getting around Goreme is somewhat confusing without internet and digital support. My review of Goreme is a touristy town where everything is just inflated from the tasteless food to the price gouging and tricky for flying the hot air balloon rides. Our hotel even admitted that companies will cancel a confirmed reservation for a balloon ride so they can find a better reservation for a higher price, even if the weather is good to go.
