Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryThe room was clean, spacious and comfortable, loved the interior design. The breakfast is delicious, lots of healthy options. Staff was super nice, really liked the bakery goods. Guests of this hotel could use the sundbeds of Azumare Lounge, it was never crowded, felt like a private beach. We had a fantastic time here!

United KingdomIt’s a lovely place with a beautiful sea view restaurant and lounge club, small private beach..Amiable staff. The place is a full of hand made decor with an elegant design..a warm colour of wood and lighting with stone walls created an elegant atmosphere. Every room is named after different historical figures, just a charming place for us history lovers.

United KingdomAzumare has its own small rocky beach with a jetty but it’s difficult to get into the water because the jetty isn’t safe . It needs to be a more stable structure . We gave up and used the beach near the harbour, 150 lira for a bed per day.
6 Rooms is a wonderful property. So much care has been taken with the decor and spaces inside and out to make them comfortable for guests. The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. The gorgeous breakfast is freshly prepared each morning by the lovely ladies at the hotel , we really enjoyed it ! Have to mention the guys who were a great help with information etc. We are so pleased we chose this hotel, it’s a very special place , so much nicer than the big hotels nearby. A calm oasis in busy Side, a little gem , we would definitely stay again without a doubt.

United KingdomThe couch in the Marcus room could use a non-slip mat underneath the couch cushion to stop it from sliding around when you lay back, especially with two people sitting on it. Just a small thing but an easy fix though :)
We loved the Boho interior design, and the surrounding ancient monuments both above and below ground added to the unique ambiance. I never expected to get a room named after one of my favourite people in history, whose book I've read many times. The location is of course perfect and we regret traveling all the way to Pamukkale during our stay here and should have done so during our stay in Antalya. The in-house bakery was clearly a cut above many others we've tried. There are countless places to eat in Ancient Side, but it's well worth trying their sweet treats and relaxing in the gorgeous bar. There were many clear touches of love throughout the café from the owner herself, such as a tapestry of their family tree (possibly embroidered by the family?). We regret not asking more questions and talking longer with the staff and owner, who were all kind-hearted people. Mustafa and Görkem were very helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask them about anything. Thank you again, guys! We wish you all the best! ♡

United KingdomFirstly the staff were all lovely and friendly, we had to book just one night due to an error with our previous hotel, and the process was really smooth to check in; the cafe/restaurant also has delicious cakes and their Turkish breakfast is great quality, would definitely book here if staying in Side again! Wish we had booked here for the whole holiday!

United KingdomIt's very difficult to think of things we didn't like as the whole holiday was superb. There were a couple of times where communication between day and evening staff shifts could have been better, as information didn't always get passed on. We felt there was a missed opportunity on one of the unused raised deck areas to have a resident's only area with sun loungers. People returning from the harbour clubs in the early hours can be a little noisy but that is more a general comment on Side, as they will pass many properties. Nothing major though that upset us or would prevent us staying again.
The location is in the heart of old Side town, but just off the busy main street in a quiet side square. Great location for walking to any beach, restaurant or activity in the area. The amphitheatre is about 5mins walk and the harbour around 10-15mins. The outside dining terraces are beautifully laid out and are a calm, relaxing area for breakfast, drinks or just relaxing with a book. There's an attached cafe/ shop which is open to the public and has a great selection of handmade cakes and pastries. If you want to go to the beach, a short walk west takes you to the Azumare Lounge where 6rooms guests get free use of the sun loungers on a small beach with pontoon. You get 10% off the menu at the Azumare Lounge and another restaurant in town by the harbour. If you do stay, and that recommended, make a point at going to the east side of the Side peninsula. That's where the best restaurants are (same price as the harbour but quiet with great views) and a small east facing beach with facilities, where the loungers are £2.25 (100lira) a day. Comfortable, clean, well designed room. Large shower, with good pressure and steady temperature. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room (free) and a mini bar (charges). Plenty of wardrobe space for clothes, iron and room safe. Aircon kept the room a pleasant temperature at night. Really friendly and helpful staff - never in your face like some places, but there when needed. Felt safe and looked after the entire holiday. Possibly the best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel, a large platter of local produce put together with care by the kitchen staff. The large breakfast meant we didn't need midday lunch! We're really glad we chose 6rooms instead of a crowded, busy and impersonal all inclusive. Horses for courses but I don't think we'd have had such an enjoyable, relaxing holiday had we gone all inclusive.
