The room was close to the road and the sound of vehicles echoed whole night which made sleep difficult.

    Nothing

Everything was lovely. We arrived a bit early and the host offered us free drinks in the pretty garden whilst they finished getting our rooms ready. The rooms were very clean ,modern and comfortable. The host couldnt do enough for us,we even could have free bottles of water whenever we needed them. Altogether a great place to stay.

    nothing

Other than a real 5 star hotel there can not be much better than this Azurrn hotel. Spotlessly clean with WIFI in room better than my corporate office. The Garden is very very comfortable and a beautiful breakfast is serviced there by the best waiters/staff I have seen. There is a top terrace to relax and enjoy the views. Just steps from the city center, Hamam and nightlife. Their staff is super!!! I can not say more. Stay here! The price is also excellent and they made all phone calls for us for tours, rental car, etc... Thanks Akuzun

Everyday was like this special day.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Hotel Akuzun...it exceeded all of our expectations!

Everyday was like this special day.......today I'm having breakfast in the dining room and the hotel owner Mr Akuzun, sits down with me and invites us to get a "free ride" to Ilha Valley and also to the Underground City (UNESCO site) because he had to pick up Swiss bicyclists and take them from one area of Cappadocia to another. We said sure!! There was only room for two in the front seat of the truck so Brittni go back in the "prisoner" back end of the truck. It was an 8 hour adventure to parts of this area we would have never seen...started with a visit to his "HOBBY FARM" where we helped feed the animals, and shared Turkish culture for a couple of hours. We then did a 90 minute hike around the fairy caves near his farm while he worked. The farm is organic and supplies food for hotel breakfasts. We had more tea and helped him to "round up the roosters and hens" before he took us to Kaymakli, the 8 story underground city built in 6 A.D. (village people would live in these underground cities for up to six months during periods of attack). We then went onto another old medieval village to drop the Swiss bicyclist. From there he took us to this gorgeous canyon in the Ilhara Valley that runs down to this very old town 90 minutes from our town. Finished by setting us in the tiny town with all the men for tea - women are not out in the evening alone, so this was really interesting. On the journey we also ran across sheep herders, a nice man on a donkey and more! Akmed has to be the VERY MOST HOSPITABLE hotel owner we have ever run across. His wife and mother/father were also onsite quite often, as well as the desk manager(s). Every single person in this hotel gave us 5 star treatment from the bottom of their hearts. Such a great stay!
