This place is superb! The ambiance is really relaxing. The staff are very efficient and simply the best. They are all very helpful - they arranged the tours, transport and just made everything convenient. To me, this hotel has the best exterior among all the hotels in this area. The restaurant, Ala, is a must try! The food is amazing and so are the staff. Thank you all for a fabulous stay.

Room was just a bit too hot but it was adjusted after we asked a lower temperature.

Amazing location in Goreme. Very close to sights around. Our room (family room with mezzanine) was very comfortable.

The spa was a little disappointing. The steam room was cold, the area generally was a bit cold (visiting in March), massages were very expensive so we didn’t bother.

Little privacy between the bathroom and the room as there was now wall but only a glass door with a curtain that barely covered the toilet thus not providing much privacy.

The room was very dark, and warm, not clear how to turn down the heating. Spa was disappointing as some of the rooms, like turkish room, did not work. We rented 4 rooms, which were spread out over the complex and were not close to each other.

Room was nice and large with excellent view, could see the balloons in the morning, and had nice little terrace.

Beautiful property. Cannot express in words how stunning this place is. Spa and spa treatments were 10/10. The hotel dog and cat made our stay even more lovely. Breakfast was plenty and fabulous. You could take the buffet offerings or have eggs cooked in whichever style. Topped off with local honey from honey comb! Nothing was too much for the staff, they even popped out to the supermarket when I ran out of toiletries, at midnight!

Amazing stay! The photos do not do the place justice. It was a beautiful complex set inside/between fairy chimneys, with beautiful cave rooms. Complimentary outdoor wine tap too every afternoon! And, the cutest cats you can imagine around the property, as well as the friendliest and most helpful staff. Would 110% recommend to anyone! Even the taxi drivers, who were not linked to hotel at all, said it was one of the best in the region.

Not a problem for me but I believe the location might be hard for those with mobility issues because it's on a hill and there's quite a few stairs between your room and anywhere in the hotel. No AC so no way to control the temperature of the room, you have to ask the staff to do something with the pipes haha. Really random but the ceiling crumbles everyday, every morning there was small ceiling crumbs in the tub and hotel room floor, Room service always cleans this up but can get annoying in between the cleans when you just want to walk without shoes on haha. Hot air balloons...You gotta wake up really early to see them but we struggled to do this but from hearing other people who stayed in the hotel, seemed like it was only seen one day. No fault of the hotel really, as the hot air balloons are weather dependent and there was only 4 times they flew in November. I'm sure the view from their rooftop would be beautiful during summer months.

I cannot believe I found this hotel out of random luck and by not seeing it listed on any top 10 hotels for Goreme is a crime! It's honestly worth the money. The room we had was so lovely and spacious, hot tub worked well and so did the bathroom. We had two double beds put together so it's was an ultimate bed! Heated floors was a massive plus, I think because we were used to the UK cold weather the room got too hot for us but I feel like for a lot other people it's the prefect treat, was able to ask the staff to turn the heating down which was nice of them to do. Everyday you get one portion of fire wood for free to use in the fireplace, more wood is available but you have to pay for it. Breakfast was amazing! so many options and plenty of stuff for whatever you fancy and it's all served in their cave dinning space. My wife was obsessed with the honey they would serve every day. Indoor pool was warmish and super clean! they have changing rooms, lockers, spa rooms, steam room and sauna as well as a huge hammam room for you to get treatments in or have a DIY Turkish bath. They have a restaurant you can book to sit in and there's live music Friday and Saturday I think. We went on Friday and it was a lovely vibe and food was great too if you're into luxury dinning experiences but that aren't expensive. They have an outdoor pool too but it was too cold for anyone to use during the time we went. Location was a short walk down to the main street filled with restaurants and places to book genuinely good excursions, there's also a few horse riding places a short drive away from this place. Shout out to Anatolian Kitchen, fairyland travel and Aziz from golden horse riding. The hotel is also located very close to a viewpoint of the whole of Goreme too. We don't drink but they have wine taps if anyone is into that.

Location is perfect, a short walk to the town. Staff are friendly and customer service was excellent. A special mention for Leyla, Safaa and the other ladies at the front desk. Oruc at breakfast was most friendly and ensured that we were well taken care of each morning. Very good Spa facilities and Turkish bath.

The entire hotel is beautiful but there was no decorated terrace per-say to view the balloons that quite a few other hotels surrounding often have. Nearly every day of our trip they were cancelled anyway so didn't really matter, but on one day I managed to catch them towards the end so I ran to the roof but (at least at the end of November) it really is just an empty roof without any chairs or cushions or anything. Would be nice to see if this is different in other seasons. Also for couples be aware that this hotel is family friendly. No fault of the hotel but there seemed to be a sudden influx of families towards the end of our stay which slightly changed the ambience for us. Not disruptive or bad but definitely something to consider if this impacts you.

We loved this place. Check-in was smooth: whilst we got a tour of the place the porter had taken our bags to our room. We were taken to the beautiful restaurant straight away where the team had a birthday cake ready for me (my heart!). They have the cutest dog that welcomed us too and continued to say hi everyday. Room had underfloor heating which made returning home after a day out really comforting (we travelled end of November). Lovely furniture, giant bed and beautiful bathroom. Room refreshed and cleaned daily. Staff friendly and the breakfast was great. I could go on and on! Was it expensive for us? Yes, but absolutely worth the splurge especially for the magical location and made up for the disappointment when the balloons got cancelled everyday because of the weather. We stayed at another (cheaper) hotel for our last night in Cappadocia as this one was fully booked and you really do get what you pay for, the difference was clear. Coming back next year with my parents.

We booked this place for 4 nights. It was an amazing experience. The entire staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. The Ala restaurant has delicious food which is great value for money. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
