We absolutely loved our stay. The room was really nice with a terrace where we enjoyed ourmorning sun. The staff was so friendly and helpfull. It was absolutely perfect. Thanks for everything.

Staircase could need more light (falling hazard). Only very dim reading light and bathroom light in the room. Be aware that the bathroom is only separated by a glass wall with shutters and there are gaps. Might be an issue for not so close friends or people who want bathroom privacy. Prices for breakfast are in the upper range but acceptable regarding the professionalism of the staff.

Extremely well trained, helpful, very professional and polite staff. Nicely designed interior. Best rooftop terrace for sunset drinks.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

The rooftop restaurant is of wonderful French cuisine. I just wish they had a varied menu - we stayed for 9 nights, and we just had no variety to choose from since the menu never changes. But at least there are so many restaurants only a block or two away.

The location is amazing. Right off the Galata tower in a quiet street. this is a small boutique hotel, it has a beautiful terrace restaurant overlooking the entire bay. The rooms have a spacious terrace overlooking a garden. the metro stations are some six blocks away - but be aware you will have steep walks to either metro station, so be prepared to do some strenuous walking.

There is a dish washing type kitchen next to the bathroom and the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in there even late at night just be aware of this

Not much TBH. The cloths hanging arrangement is a bit odd… a rail over the tea and coffee making table… and we made the error of thinking that the tea and coffee in the room were complimentary only to be handed a bill when we were leaving… we must have misunderstood, but I thought it a bit mean

Lovely property in an excellent location. Wonderful staff, especially Yasin who helped with restaurant recommendations and was very supportive, though fair to say all the staff were lovely. Bed extremely comfortable, we had a quiet room with a balcony overlooking the garden which was very nice. Fixtures and furnishings very tasteful and a very powerful shower.

Neighbourhood nice but there was loud music every night from an outdoor bar (a long way from the hotel but still extremely loud) which spoilt the use of the otherwise lovely balcony

Despite outstanding views and the premium to see the Bosphorus which is above the 3rd floor of hotel, we didn't think it was value for money compared with other boutique hotels we have stayed at in major European cities.

Outstanding views over the Bosphorus. Just off the main street at Galata so quiet. A location where it would work better if you enjoy walking and are happy to walk up and down hills as Galata the highest part of Istanbul

Very small things could be improved but are absolutely not show stoppers and the place is still wonderful. The bedside tables are too weak to read :)

The hotel certainly has an old-school charm but the bathrooms could do with some updating.

The location is perfect and the view is incredible. The reception staff (particularly Mustafa) are exceptional. The rooftop serves and excellent breakfast and drinks in the evening.

My husband and I ate at some wonderful places, thanks to the hotel staff making recommendations and reservations for us, but our favorite place with the best food and drinks was the rooftop hotel restaurant. The views, the food, and the drinks were all superb!

The TV had issues with the sound quality. And We expected more selection of TV channels in English. There was only BBC. Everything else was in Turkish.

Room was noisy (lots of kitchen noises seemed to be coming from the bathroom pipes and my neighbours were very loud) but I had earplugs which cancelled it out.

Beautiful property, room was extremely comfortable and exactly as pictured. Excellent location close to Galata Tower. Food in the restaurant was great. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
