Gulec Hotel is a quiet and cozy place. The manager and the team are super helpful. We are happy to recommend this place to any person (or family) who appreciate a friendly, quiet and modest place to stay in Bodrum.

Parking is scarce. Double parking in anarrow Street was required for a couple of hours before a legal spot appeared. No kettle etc in the room. Had to ask for water glasses. No room fridge.

Quaint style. Separate two storey buildings in a central narrow street. Nice garden area where a nice breakfast,fast was served. 250m walk to an excellent city beach; beautiful swimming place. Hundreds of cafes etc in the immediate vicinity. Easy stroll to the Bodrum Castle. (Well worth your time.) Room was pleasant but basic.

Nothing really. There was a problem with the payment amount but thankfully we noticed and it was able to be sorted out after some intensive explanations on our part. All good in the end.

The room was nice, clean, simple and reasonably sized. It looked out onto a lovely lush garden. The location was great, really close to main shopping and restaurants, 5 mins from beach. Not noisy. Delicious breakfast eaten in the leafy garden.

One of the hosts did not speak English well. I missed not having extra switches in the room. There was one in the toilet, and an extension cord (close to the TV), which I used to recharge my external battery that was supported on the mirror's frame.

The hotel is very close to the main road where you can find restaurants, shops, travel agencies & the Bodrum Bazaar, as well as it is located in a quiet area. I loved having the breakfast in the garden surronded by cats. I really enjoyed having the turkish breakfast during my stay (I was looking forward to having this experience). The air conditioning and shower (hot/cold water) worked well. The view from my room was amazing! Although one of the hosts did not speak English well, he was very friendly, and did his best to give me the necessary information.

The room had two single beds that were pushed together to form a double bed, which was fine, but the furniture wasn't positioned properly for a double bed setup, making it a bit uncomfortable. I ended up bumping my head against the shelf at least a couple of times.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a simple style. The added value is provided by the inner garden, which is a great place to relax in peace after being immersed in the hustle and bustle of Bodrum.

Loved hotel gulec! The garden is so beautiful situated in the middle of the hotel, making the vibe very bright and relaxing. Our room had exactly what we needed, beds were comfy, clean towels and bathroom and aircon. No frills but for the price it was exactly what we needed, not to mention in a perfect location very close to town less than 1 minute!

We only stayed one night because we had an overnight flight and then a morning ferry to Kos. Despite a short stay, our host was very helpful, sweet and caring. He arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel for us and we were able to check in at night, which was very convenient. We didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the garden looked very nice. The room was clean and cool.

Room was a little worn down.

This is very cute family owned hotel, and the staff is really friendly. It is in a great location, a short walking distance from the beach and bazzar. One of best things is amazing garden where also breakfast is served. If you love cats you will definitely enjoy it, as garden has a number of them. We had so much fun playing with ginger kitten.

The rooms could have been cleaner as we booked the whole hotel but some rooms were dirty while others were clean. The staff could have been a bit more hospitable as they were rude at times.

The facility is Getting a bit run in down/ tired - needs a revamp. Staff are friendly enough. Lacked small touches like soap in bathroom.still setting up for the summer season.

The property definitely needs investment in a) beds (bed quality was not good) and b) hot water not available for shower c) bed sheets have reached their life ….They should charge a bit more per night but spend on comfort which can make this hotel even better given the location and friendly owners/staff.
