The lights of the room. No light near the bed. No place to charge my phone near the bed. Everything thing was classic simple and amazing except the breakfast hall. It was looking modern. Modern plates glasses and forks and knives.

Everything, and especially my beloved room Raziye. The nice little garden. The wood. My room was above the breakfast hall. It was amazing to hear the voices of the hall and the kitchen through the woods.

The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The service was professional, friendly and attentive. Two additional attractions were the beautiful garden with the comfortable seating and the offerings of the Gulevi wine cellar. An easy going style!

Very thin ceilings and floors - if possible, ask for a room on the top floor.

A very authentic place with the charm of an old Ottoman house lovingly restored by Ibrahim bey and his wife Gül. Helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Perfect location.

Beautifully restored mansion, right in the middle of town but on a quiet side street leading up from the main square. Very comfy and tastefully decorated rooms, excellent breakfast, hospitable owners. Lovely garden at the back to relax in. The town of Safanbolu is a gem.

Our third visit to this hotel and we brought friends with us because we enjoy it so much. We traveled for 23 days around Turkey and stayed in 10 different hotels and this one is the best by far.

We are happy with the quality of Turkish breakfast they offered, but some people might find it too simple - basically no meat.

-we stayed comfortably in the beautifully renovated historical building, which offered a very nice view of the old town. -staff was very helpful.

Waking up in the wee hours of the morning to the smell of burning coal was horrible! The community at large had issues with Americans. First time I felt discrimination while traveling. I'm well traveled, well behaved and conservatively dressed.

The accommodation were wonderful once you got there. A bit hard to find. The breakfast was amazing.
