Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Sweden-Bed linen and towels: Unfortunately, there were old stains on some of the towels or sheets. A small thing, but a bit unpleasant -Rules: At check-in we were told to be careful with the bed linen and, for example, to remove makeup before going to bed. Because if we stained the white fabric, we could be charged some kind of fee. I understand the logic behind this, but the question arises: if you fine guests for damaging the linen, why not use that money to buy new sets? (Returning to the previous point) -Breakfast: Breakfasts were very monotonous, the same dishes every day. Sometimes the omelet toppings changed, but by the 5th day the breakfasts became boring and we decided to have breakfast elsewhere 1–2 times
-Location: The hotel is 2 minutes from the beach, where you can get a good sunbed for 200 Turkish lira, and right next to the hotel there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. We fell in love with Sheriff Bar, which has great prices, tasty food and a wide selection of alcohol, and it’s only 30 seconds from the hotel -Renovation: The hotel was built not long ago and has very fresh renovation, you can see that it is well maintained -Room: Very good furniture, nice bathroom and a decent layout. We were pleased with the balcony overlooking the sea and one of the pools. Our room was 20 square meters, in a similar 12 square meter room it would probably feel tighter -Staff: Super-friendly staff, some spoke good English, but unfortunately there were also some with whom we could not understand each other well -Noise level: It was quite quiet, which was surprising since our balcony was very close to a local bar and the hotel seemed to be fully booked -Elevator: Despite the size of the hotel, we were surprised to find an elevator. Although the elevator itself was small and two people with suitcases barely fit, it was a nice fact. If I remember correctly, there were even two of them

Irelanda small selection of breakfast.
I had a wonderful stay at Gürses Life Hotel in Alanya. The location is excellent—close to the beach, harbour, and local attractions, which made it so easy to explore the city on foot. The pool area was a highlight for me: clean, relaxing, and perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The staff were also fantastic—always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value with its combination of location, facilities, and genuine hospitality. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alanya and would love to stay here again!

SwedenThe hotel is absolutely amazing – very clean, fresh, and well-maintained. It’s located close to everything, which makes it super convenient whether you’re shopping, heading to the beach, or just exploring the area. The staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help. If you need anything, they respond quickly and with a smile. A special thank you to ”Pinar,WHO was pregnant “who has helped us so much during our stay – she truly goes above and beyond! The housekeeping is excellent – the rooms are always spotless and well taken care of. You really feel looked after here. We’re extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be coming back next year! 🌟

IrelandEverything was great. Maybe recommend bedside lamps for reading. Other than that, there are no issues.
The hotel was so central, walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Well kept hotel, clean, lovely and quiet, no issues with sun loungers etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we are back to Alanya again, we would 100% stay here again.
