Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Room was so little. There was so bad smell in the room. The breakfast was not as shown in the picture, it was so poor.
Location and personnel was very good. Everthing was near us. We can easily reach all buses and shops.

Maybe bathroom could get some renovation, but overall, good hotel value for the price. My booking ordered taxi was 5 times overpriced compared to normal Trabzon city taxi rate, but it has not anything to do with hotel, next time i'll know better.

Washroom was without any ventilation and room become smelly.
Staff was excellent, provided all required support. Facilities can be improved like providing water, tea items and daily cleaning etc.

They gave us the room we booked for our second booking and here started terrible experience. Room was smelling like a mold, there was water coming from upper floor room bathroom, we asked them to change so they gave us all single beds, room was quite okay but bathroom was terrible. No hot water in the sink, one shower head wasn't working. Hot water got cold while taking shower and they needed to fix it for a long time so we weren't able to get ready on time for our next day's check out and they gave us just half an hour more free late checkout. Kettle was dirty, Every night there was terrible elevator noises because it was on last floor. And elevator is too small such as bathrooms.
I liked that they tried to help us giving better room.

The room and bathroom were incredibly damp and humid. Smelled damp. We couldn't have our breakfast which was included in the price in our last day. Prices change for guests from outside Turkey and in Turkey.
Price-performance hotel with a central location. They offer breakfast in the terrace, but the terrace was closed on Tuesday in our last day, without any announcements. So we couldn't have our breakfast which was included in the price. Rooms are like in the pictures but don't expect any sea view or any ventilation.

The toilet is very small, and its infrastructure must be renewed.

I didn't like the toilet , it was so old , narrow and not clean as it should be.
I like the location , it's the best thing about this hotel. The staff was so friendly as well.

The ground floor is reachable only by stairs and the parking lot is a little bit far from the hotel

Very very bad smell from the toilet and the staff give me an Air fresher but you must sprinkle every time you uses the bathroom

The smell from the bathroom((( the furniture little old.
Stuff was more than great, really nice people, always helpful. Location super. The very centre of the city but at the same time really quiet I'm the night time. The price was shocking low.

smell in the room was not so good, poor bathroom
Superb location, and great value for the money paid. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY, the guy from reception offered me a great cup of coffee in the morning, and the girl from the next shift arranged an extra day in the room for a reasonable payment. Breakfast is very basic but tasty.
