Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainUnfortunately, the city of Antakya suffered a devastating earthquake back in 2023. The consequences are still visible, and reconstruction will take several years. Despite very few places survived to earthquake, people are trying to reasume their lives with hope and a smile, which is not always easy.
This hotel has kept the essence of Antakya, the room was comfortable, clean and decorated with typical furniture from the region. The staff was welcoming, helpful and English speaking. Definitely, I recommend this place.

South AfricaThere was a misunderstanding between booking.com and the hotel as it did not reflect the age of my son on the hosts system. I had to show proof that I booked my son as being 16 years old and not a toddler. Because of the earthquake, we could not find any restaurants nearby. Reception did offer to have food delivered to us though.
The rooms and bathroom were really spacious and comfortable.

SingaporeWhile Luwi may have been in the centre of the main road of Antakya, the devastating 2023 earthquake left it the miracle survivor standing in its immediate vicinity. There isn't much nearby, and it's a bit of a walk to the Covered Bazaar. Taxis do not pass routinely by, so allow some time for the hotel to call one. The driver they use can be pushy, so be aware, and firm. But Hatay needs support in rebuilding, so we were grateful they welcomed us.
Our suite was super large, and we were surprised to find a second room with two more single beds inside. It has large sofas, a kitchen countertop and a good bathroom, and is great value for all its creature comforts. A great coffeeshop, Mali's Cups, was a short walk away. Luwi was able to arrange for a taxi to bring us around the sights of Hatay Province.

SingaporeThe stove plates didn't work, it would have been nice to heat things up. The hotel stands in the midst of considerable rebuilding, but a very nice coffee place, Mali's Friends, is a short walk away. The cab driver they use can sometimes be pushy, just don't let him get the better of you!
A standing oasis between two earthquake wrecks, the hotel offered big, comfortable and clean rooms. We were surprised our unit had an extra bedroom with two more single beds, as well as the suite-like arrangement, with couches and kitchenette. We appropriated the extra pillows and blankets! Air-conditioning worked as both heater and cooler. Bathroom was spacious, and the hot water came on quickly. Reception can call you a cab, and they also helped arrange for a sightseeing trip the whole of our second day in Hatay province.

LatviaAll was good.
The hotel is in very good location. You can walk to St PIerre’s cave church and Museum hotel. Rooms are nice and comfortable. And it’s easy to find the place. And here comes important part! Hazar who is working in reception is fantastic! He speaks English very well and I have to say that without his help my stay would never been so good. You have to know that in Antakya after earthquake you can barely use navigation for cafes, eating places etc, they are on internet but when you find them in real life they are destroyed. So, Hazar told me where I have to go to get famous desert kunrfe, and yes, you have to try it, he made order to places I wanted to visit, called taxi, called to get me kebab since I arrived at night. It’s important because very very few people speak English. I absolutely suggest this place!!!

FinlandThe room was very dusty. Partly that is due to the conditions in the city which in general is still "dust" after the earth quake. But ... the room could be cleaned well.
The room (down stairs next to the main door) is big. Everything worked. Staff was friendly.

I really enjoyed communicating with the pleasant and positive staff, who personally helped me a lot in solving difficult issues. I sincerely advise this hotel when you choosing where to live in these difficult times for Antakya.
