Sadly the gym and spa facilities were closed whilst we were staying at the hotel. They did however, do their very best to assist my friend who was training for an event, by moving some of the gym equipment for her to use.

The location was superb as you are able to walk into down town Bodrum in 20 minutes. Excellent views of Bodrum and the bay and out to The island of Kos. The staff are amazingly kind and supportive and attentive to the needs of all their guests. The restaurant staff were exemplary and the manager whilst we were there, özgürlük was charming. The reception team of Ahmet, Mete and Gotham were super helpful and friendly.

Flawless place. as a suggestion it would be great to have an espresso machine in the room. Also the Keychain of the room key is a giant metal key that you cannot carry around I would juat keep it more simple

Would have loved a gift shop with some high-quality items like tiles, kilims and silk scarves as well as some antiques - a lovely shop in the area near the amphitheatre had gorgeous items and I wish there was a store with some of those items. Also, maybe a concierge who could suggest where to go if you have 2 days, for example. But these are just suggestions.

The view is drop-dead gorgeous with the turquoise waters in the distance. The breakfast was a huge spread, fresh and delicious. The distance to town was perfect - walkable and cheap if you wanted to take a taxi! But for me the highlight was the architecture which delighted in so many ways. It feels like a museum with wonderful pieces of art and sculpture. The giant framed photos of local people was charming and gave it such an authentic touch. The bar with the open fireplace was also wonderful to come back to at night. I would love to have stayed longer and done some trips to other islands but no time, alas!

We enjoyed all aspects of our wonderful stay at Marmara Bodrum. The room we got was spacious with excellent facilities, super comfy bed and great views over Bodrum city and the bay. Enjoyed the great spa facilities and massages. We liked the overall design architecture and all food was delicious. The most exceptional aspect of all, is the high class professional and friendly attitude of the personnel. They will definitely go the extra mile to help, be sure about that! And also great advice of how to find anything from the local markets. Staff is exceptional. It's located on a hill just over the Bodrum city, has a private beach with free commuting less than 10' away, has excellent views and at the summer seems as one of the best places to be to avoid the excessive heat sweating in the city. Certainly Marmara Bodrum is a proof of the high class tourism services that Turkey is more than able to provide. Many thanks! we are looking forward to our next visit there.

The hotel was beautiful and the views at breakfast every morning were incredible. We visited out of season but the weather was still amazing to read on the balcony and swim in the pool. The staff were extremely helpful - on the last day Gokhan let us check out late for free when he heard our flight home was late which was a super kind gesture. I’ll definitely be back!

From the beginning to the end of our stay, we were embraced with a warm welcome and top-class service. The facilities in the hotel were great, including the pool, the thermal suite, gym, the seaside room view, complimentary drinks on arrival and music at night. It was really quiet as it was ''off-season'' so we felt we were even more relaxed and well looked after. We travelled in November and still used the pool most days. The breakfast and lunch were excellent. Although there was a steep walk back up the hill to the hotel, we walked to the main area every day and evening. Excellent hotel, would return in the future. Great location for Winter Sunshine.

The food and drinks, particularly the wine, were a bit expensive for what it was, like 50gbp for a bottle of average wine (local).

The property is very pretty and clean, location is pretty good, just need taxi on the way back as it’s on a big hill.

Having visited the marmara hotel for nearly 15 years, it remains one of my favourite hotels in the world! Very attentive staff who always remember us, immaculately clean throughout, stylish furnishings throughout and a view to die for!

The only lowlight was that the Spa was always booked in the mornings and evenings and we didn’t have the chance to visit it in four days.

Me and my husband were stunned by our stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Daula, Ahmet and Gunsu from the reception, they solved all problems quickly and always were open to help out. The hotel has an amazing view, one of the best I’ve seen in all of the hotels I visited. We enjoyed the delicious food in the hotel restaurant and we didn’t want to leave the hotel for meals since they were so good. In a few words, I really recommend the hotel and if to visit Bodrum ever again, it will be my first choice.
