Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Break fast is complimentory so no complaints. But dont expect a buffet. A small fresh snacks available till 11 AM. They will bring coffe and Tea upon request. Rooms are small but thats every where in istanbul. I had to keep open the doors for cooling as AC temporature is warm.
Location of this hotel is the best. Very near to Metro, Tunnel and istiklal street. They provide Free Drinking water from filter inside hotel which is nice. Taxi can reach front of Hotel which is not very common in Istambul. They have elevator which is nice. Nice hotel lobby where we can sit and relax like in a cafe. There is a stationery store right in front which is a blessing. Its an Green, eco friendly hotel with good standards. Staff are nice like family. Nice Balcony. Away from Street noices. Can sleep keeping windows open. Safe for Family. not steep surface Very much recommended for every one who is new to istanbul. I stayed with Wife and Toodler ..it was a very satisfied stay. We used public Transport to travel and its easy to access via Tunnel to Karakoy in 6 minutes from hotel

The space where the bed is located is a little tight. I had the impression that the headboard, which is made of fabric, was a bit dusty, as I have allergic rhinitis. Minor issues.
Great staff. Perfect location on a quiet street amidst the hustle and bustle. Room with many amenities, excellent bathroom. Amazing tips for restaurants and bars in the nearby area.

- Noisy Street (Always wear earplugs for sleeping) - No makeup mirror and low light level (sensor-based auto-switching halogen bulb) in the entrance; I understand the concept of being a green hotel but what if someone needs good uninterrupted light for 10-20 minutes? There is no option.

the elevator was not working And the balcony door knob was broken, felt it was not secured enough

A couple of leaks in the bathroom and Wi-Fi is weak and unstable.
The apartment is tiny but very cozy. The location is great - right next to the busiest street but the building is somewhat hidden from it. Although it still gets loud at night on the weekends.

Room has a small kitchen, but not equipped enough to actually make meals.
Great location (close to many shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet street) Room has all you need for a city trip, small and comfortable. Downstairs area has great vibe. Good breakfast, friendly staff

Had a few problems with WiFi as couldn't always connect with internet .It was a little unstable.
The staff were super helpful and went out of their way to find a daily medical service for my husband ..very friendly and nothing is too much touble for them . Well done !!

The bed should be bigger.
Perfect location 50 meters from istiklal street and near Galatea tower. Its quiet and you don’t hear the noise from streets.

size of the rooms are too small and faced a problem to push my daughter's stroller inside
Location is superb and building from inside is very friendly, however, rooms are not suitable for families as they are small in size. corridors barely can cater for stroller. it is very suitable for couples. staff are very friendly and supportive.

I stayed in winter so didn’t get to use the outside space but it looks nice.
location, staff (thanks Onur & Onur), because of the situation in London with covid I cut my trip short and they accommodated this which I really appreciated. Also helped me understand that you need an HES code to visit Turkey and how to get one which isn’t clear on UK government’s website. The apartment is a self contained space - big fridge, rainfall shower. there’s a nice breakfast with delicious pancakes if you want them.

Thin walls means you can hear a lot of what is happening in the corridors and other rooms. Big fire doors at the tops of the stairs on each floor are very noisy when opened and closed. Not ideal if you are a light sleeper. Also for me the pillows were way too big and not comfortable.
Location is good, short walk from shops, restaurants and bars. Also close to metro and tram stops to get into the old part of the city. Nice lobby and lounge area and clean rooms with enough space and comfortable beds. Bathroom a little small but great shower and provided shower gel and shampoo. Seemed to have a good focus on sustainability where possible.

The hotel is basic and nice. Pretty good for a place to sleep before exploring the city. The staff could be more helpful on suggestions, though in general they were nice and friendly.

Most of the reseption staff were not speaking english and couldnt understand our requests. Lady (i believe, manager of the hotel) were insisting a lot on taking expensive airport transfer, created confusion regarding our prepaid booking (saying that it s not paid) and in general was quite rude with us (and other guess in front of me) most of the time. But, despite of behaviour of some people, experience with this hotel was quite positive
Great location close to the metro. Nice room, comfy breakfast area. Kitchen utensils were provided upon request.
