The location was wonderful. I woke up to find hot air balloons from my window. The breakfast was great with so many options. They provide drinking water for free and the property is clean and wonderfully maintained with antique decor.

Nothing but it is on outskirts of Goreme but only less than 5 minute walk away from centre.

Everyone and everything about this hotel was exceptional. Friendly helpful staff, cleanliness and underfloor heating throughout the room and bathroom. A balcony to watch the hot air balloons pass by every morning. The outstanding breakfast buffet and the staff Mustafa, Asihlan and Mehmet very attentive and helpful.

Mild odor from the bathroom but nothing that would keep me from staying again. The little shower window helped offset that.

This place is amazing. Nice and helpful staff. Comfortable room/bed. The bathroom is roomy with a hot, strong shower. Location is quiet. It's not in the middle of everything but easily walkable. Our building only had 3 rooms on one floor so it was very quiet. There are terraces on each of the buildings for viewing the hot air balloons or just to relax. Breakfast area is comfortable. Breakfast had variety. I loved the cheeses and veggies & greens to make a salad. We were there during Christmas/New year's so it felt cozy with the lights & holiday decorations. Plenty of parking. Side note: We used the Royal Balloon company for our hot air balloon ride and they were fantastic.

I travelled alone for my birthday and i was scared at first but to be honest i never felt alone in this hotel because the staff are so friendly and kind specially Mustafa who's always making a very nice english tea and a very delicious breakfast for me and always chatting with me every morning which reminds me of my granpa. I will never forget your kindness to me, you have space in my heart! Thank so so much! The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect close to the city centre and attractions. All the staff are very kind and always ready to answer your questions and always smiling and willing to help. I also booked my hot air balloon with them and they gave me a discount. The hot air balloon was excellent and the pilot was very nice and funny aswell. The crew of the hot air balloon are all sweet as well they are willing to take a pictures and videos of me. They even surprised me with a birthday cake after our landing ooh! My heart is soo full Man! My stay here was excellent. Deserve more than 10 to be honest. Thank you Royal Stone Houses Goreme and Royal Balloon Will defo come back here. I honestly can't think of anything I would have changed, there were dogs nearby which kept me up one night but nothing the hotel can do about that.

Just completely exceeded all my expectations. One of the bext locations I would say in the entire world for watching the hot air balloons just from your own balcony :) Staff were excellend, room and beds were comfortable, breakfast was very nice with a large variety. But above all else the thing which you will remember 20 years from now is the sound waking up and hearing soft talking and wondering what that is and walking onto your balcony in your pajamas to be greeted by the site of hot air balloons so close you feel like you could touch them!! Having to pinch yourself to make sure you are not dreaming. It is MAGICAL.

The location is so good. It was close to main street only 10-minute walk distance. but it was quiet and not noisy, and the parking lot was spacious, which was nice. It's a fairly large hotel in Goreme. The restaurant was good, the staff taught me well how to tour, and they were all friendly and nice people. We were so happy after riding the balloon that we returned to hotel room and the hotel had brought a fruit basket for the balloon guests. We all Thank them, Royal Hotel people. Bless you.

Nice location in a quiet area of Goreme within a walking distance to the city center. I can walk to both Goreme open air museum and a starting point of the love valley hiking route. Comfortable bed, spacious room, clean bathroom. There is also a rooftop where you can see the view and balloon. Excellent breakfast buffet with varieties of Turkish breakfast and some menu changed everyday (i.e. soup). I also directly booked the sunrise balloon with Royal Balloon at a special rate for the hotel customer and it turn out to be the most memorable day during my stay in Cappadocia !!

Like the name suggests, it was a royal experience. 10 mins walking to the red valley where the hot air balloons take off. Even if you aren't doing the hot air balloon you can see it from the dedicated terrace of the hotel. The room gives you a royal feel and it was just perfect.

The WiFi dropped my log in twice. I was only there 2 nights and had to go to reception to get it reset. One of the times it dropped out was at midnight and I didn't want to walk to reception that late at night so I went without WiFi until I woke up in the morning. WiFi is quite important these days especially to keep in touch and check upcoming travel arrangements so this was a bit annoying.

Location is just outside the hub which we prefered. 5 minute walk to the centre. Room was super clean and size was very comfortable. Blanket helped with a good sleep. Mustafa at the breakfast bar was lovely! Hotel organised aiport transfer for 10€ pp. Very beautiful hotel and viewed the balloons from the terrace.

The staff was phenomenal. Our luggage was delayed due to a short connecting flight, and the airline/airport did not provide a lot of information or help. The hotel staff and the airport transport company went the extra mile to help us get our bags back. In particular, the manager of the hotel had to call 3+ different numbers to track down where one of our suitcases was. Their knowledge of the systems involved and how to navigate them was crucial. The staff was generally very friendly and eager to help and answer any questions we had (I probably went to the front desk and asked them 10 or so questions throughout our stay). The breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and very nice (clean and quiet). The location was very close to the downtown and many of the hikes we wanted to do. Their rooftop terrace offers great views for the hot air balloons.
