Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaWhat did I like? Everything. Friendly, helpful and hospitable staff. Great location at the harbour (and far enough away from the tattoos and lips of Cleopatra beach, but close enough to visit.) Costs a little extra for the deluxe harbour view rooms, but madness not to pay it. I will definetely return

United KingdomThe hotel's location is excellent, close to everything, with excellent restaurants just across the street. It has a spectacular view of the harbor, just as the photos show. The breakfast is good, and all the staff are very friendly. Anlaya is definitely a place to return.

DenmarkThat people reserve the lounge chairs by the pool! The space up there is a bit tight. My partner and I, as a matter of principle, don’t put down our towels before we are there, but several others did. The hotel should step in here and have a very strict policy regarding this!! The staff at the reception should be more open and service-minded in our view, with a smile and a greeting when you come down to go out :-)
Those who worked in the restaurant were so nice (at the breakfast buffet) and the breakfast buffet was good! Very clean hotel and the room with a sea view gives you a great view. Overall, a really nice hotel.

IcelandUnfortunately, there were several issues that affected our experience. The hotel appears to have opened in a rush – many areas were still unfinished, with plastic film left on door frames and poorly applied grout between tiles. Although we had booked a higher-floor room, we were told at check-in that we’d been assigned a land view – which wasn’t true. After pointing this out, we were switched to a sea view room before heading upstairs, but the view was mostly blocked by trees and didn’t meet expectations. The room wasn’t clean – the shower leaked, the toilet had no hygiene seal, and several basic amenities like cups and glasses were missing. In the second room we got the next day, those items were there, but housekeeping remained inconsistent. During our 10-day stay, the soap dispensers were never refilled. The toiletries had already been used, the shower gel ran out halfway through, and the hand soap was later watered down rather than replaced. The air conditioning, placed directly above the bed, leaked during use. I had to move the bed and place a towel underneath to prevent the floor from getting wet. Breakfast was disappointing. Hot dishes like scrambled eggs weren’t actually kept warm, and meat options were very limited. While pork isn’t served, some kind of alternative like turkey bacon or chicken sausage would’ve been nice. We had also asked in advance about sunbeds, since the pool area only fits around 14, and were told it wouldn’t be a problem. But every day was a struggle to find space, and the situation quickly became uncomfortable. On top of that, there were two children constantly jumping and screaming in the pool. One of them even jumped onto my back on purpose while I was swimming, trying to "ride" me – it was painful and completely inappropriate. The hotel states there’s a 12-year age limit for the pool, but according to staff, this only means children under 12 must be accompanied – not that they’re restricted from using the pool area.
The hotel overall has a beautiful design and stylish atmosphere. The view from the pool area is truly stunning. The bed was very comfortable – though it only came with one duvet – and it was a nice touch that housekeeping often arranged the towels into cute shapes after cleaning. There are two elevators, which is convenient, and the on-site Noa Bar & Restaurant hosted various events during our stay. A special shoutout to the restaurant staff – they were kind and helpful, although it seems they work for Noa Bar & Restaurant rather than the hotel itself. Breakfast offerings changed slightly from day to day, which was a nice effort to add variety. There was also a porter who helped us with our luggage upon arrival without being asked – a thoughtful gesture that gave a good first impression. However, it felt slightly awkward as it was clear that tipping was expected.

United KingdomI had a room on the first floor and it was a little noisy at nights.
Staff was super nice and helpful - big thanks for the reception, cleaning lady and the two young lads at the breakfast area. Breakfast was plenty and amazing - just as I would expect from a hotel like this. Good selection of cheeses, vegetables, fruits and breads. No gluten-free bread however. Room was very clean and spacious, I had an amazing sea view, too. WiFi was fast. Hotel is highly recommended.

United StatesThe area is a little noisy, since it is located close everything. Parking is a bit of a problem if you have a rental car, but the hotel does provide valet parking, which is definitely a plus.
The staff were very nice and the location was excellent. Also, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.

GermanyA wonderful hotel with an excellent location! What stood out the most for me was the staff—so friendly, welcoming, and ready to assist with any issue, no matter how small. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of dishes, and the room was spotless and well-equipped with everything you might need. I was also very impressed with how well communication was handled online, especially on Booking.com. The hotel quickly arranged a seamless airport transfer, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay, and I wish the team continued success in their work!

AustraliaThe rooms were a bit on the small side and the hotel is undergoing an expansion so construction noise was present, but first world problems and we would definitely stay again.
Fantastic location with an awesome view of the harbour and panorama. Staff were super helpful from the moment we arrived where they greeted us, unloaded the car, valet parked and checked us in to the time we left. The room service staff were full of joy and very polite and friendly. The Breakfast buffet was extensive and of a very high quality. Thanks for a great stay.
