This trip I was a solo traveler, so perfect. When my travels, we must have a king sized bed, which the property lacks. But if I get to come alone again, I will definitely stay here at Side.

The staff were great. Always at the desk 24/7 wiling and almost disappointed if you didn’t have something for them to assist with. Great guys, (please forgive any spelling mistakes) Emre, Aunusmre, Fukan, Erendy, and of course all those that cleaned during the day I didn’t get a chance to meet personally.

This is my third time staying at this lovely hotel. The staff members are very helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to Furkaan for all of his assistance throughout our stay and also, to Emre. This hotel always feels like home to me. I like the fact that it is very close to the main attractions such as Hagia Sophia Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Basillica Cistern, etc. You can take a lovely stroll along Sultanahmet Square. It is near to the tram line as well as the Metro. It is a 2 minute walk to the Havaist bus stop, so it is easy to travel to IST Airport.

If I stay again, I will ask for a room above ground floor as I was woken up every moring by the sound of staff using the cleaning store.

Breakfast is help yourself. Not the widest of choices but adequate and included in the price. Location could not be better just a few minutes from Haggia Sophia mosque. Hotel has a nice rooftop terrace with decent views which is above the noise and a decent area to relax. No kettle in the rooms but there is a hot water point with a choice of types of tea in a quiet communal area.

Breakfast provided on third floor which may be difficult for some to get to as no lift in hotel.

The staff are very helpful which is always the difference between good and bad accommodation. The room I stayed in was basic but clean - that was all I needed as the majority of the days were spent away from the hotel. PS - the Palatium restaurant two side streets away was sensational for ambience, food and underground ruins visible through glass platform.

This is our second stay the the Side Hotel and we are certain that it won't be the last. We hadn't been back for 15 years so one never knows if things have changed in the meantime. In the best of ways, the Side Hotel is as it was years ago. Clean, comfortable and with a wonderful location...all of old Istanbul is outside your door! The staff are great with a particularly shout out to Emre and Furkan whose friendly faces greeted us warmly upon arrival and upon each return to the hotel. The substantial breakfast buffet is served on the terrace with lovely views of the Bosporus, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. WIFI and A/C worked well and we had a small refrigerator in our room. Until the next time....

Toilet is positioned right infront of shower ok for kids awkward for adults but managble, only one plug socket in room so bring an extension

Location from blue mosque , Haji sofia and the tram on foot was like 4 mins max , laundrette 5 mins away, Topika Palace like 8 mins walk, Location is brilliant, rooms are slightly small. Everything is clean, all staff are Uber Helpful, Breakfast is standard boiled eggs , salad, tea , coffee , bread etc

The location of the hotel is exceptional. Both mosques and the bazaar are nearby. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help.

Nothing . For us it was what we expected

I really appreciated that they solved the situation with parking the car near the hotel and it was safe all the time; their kindness and involvement to help you. Breakfast was enough and you had what to choose depending on your preferences . The attractions are very close to the hotel and a lot of restaurants around. I also liked that they arranged the room daily and changed the towels. I really liked staying here and I recommend it.
