The room had a few small cosmetic deficiencies, the rooms are all situated around the main stairwell that is also used to get up to the restaurant so you might hear customers walking up.

The location was superb, you where so close to both Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The view and food from their restaurant was also amazing. Their staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable, and clean.

We were etremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was very packed and noisy. We had to insist for the room to be cleaned. There was a very bad smell in the bathroom. We informed the hotel several times but they refused to change the room and said they fixed it which was not the case. The Breakfast was poor despite the very nice rooftop. Not worth the money at all. Finally they asked us to pay in cash which we did to arrange them and we asked a bill with our two names on our checking out, they promised they will send by e mail which they did not despite our reminders. This give us a very bad feeling about the honesty and professionalism of the staff of this hotel. Will definitely not recommend.

The rooftop is very nice. Beautiful view. The staff of the restaurant are nice.

during our stay for a day or two they didnt clean the washroom despite request . after telling them for clean up again , they cleaned the room. they charged too much in my opinion for hotel shuttle service from airport to hotel.

staff friendly and helpful, room was neat and good. location was just perfect, everything was withing reach. very near to all tram station etc for using the local transport which becomes very easy on istanbul card. many and major attractions very near to hotel on walking distance. breakfast was included in stay and was good.

It would be nice if the upper terrace would be cleaner, because at the time we was there, you can not really enjoy your breakfast there. It would be a great adittion to the guest stay, because the view is pretty awesome.

Location is perfect, only a few steps from all major atractions...Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park. Staff was also very nice, trying to help whenever we need something. Small rooms, but clean and comfortable for a young couple who spend most of the time exploring the city.

With easily 100 nearby smaller and larger hotels, there are better choices. The staff was not accommodating for the price. Room clean up/service was on the minimal side. Staff, although we clearly requested, did not provide wake up calls for early morning flights. A fellow traveler complained of nighttime noise (likely coming from an adjoining hotel). Breakfast not exciting, and Nescafe instead of Turkish coffee –terrible! (But not uncommon throughout Istanbul, sadly). With many boutique and other hotels footsteps away, I would check out one of those before Turk Art Hotel.

This hotel was pleasant and well situated in the Sultanahmet district. Pluses are the location directly opposite from the Four Seasons Hotel, easy walking distance to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and many restaurants. Ask for a room facing the Four Seasons. Breakfast was decent. The restaurant on the patio deck was very nice for dinner, one wait staff was a devout Muslim and he added a bonus. The Turk Art Hotel seems to be as much of a ceramic/handcraft rug sale store (with some very nice items) as a hotel.

The location is superb. I couldn't better it. Literally around the corner from Aya Sofra ( Hagia Sophia) and the Blue Mosque and the other delights of Sultanahmet. It's barely 1 minutes walk. The street has atmosphere plus! I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The views from the terrace at the hotel were wonderful, day and night. The Manager, Orhan, was so patient with all my questions, and was a professional and very helpful person. Top marks there.

The only issue that I had was the size of the room, though I believe that further floors up the spaces expand. It was a little too cramped for two people, however the view to the balcony was nice. There's not much reason to stay in the room though, old city, delicious terrace dining, and the rest of Istanbul await you!

The staff are gregarious, fluent in many languages, and always ready to help with anything. If you're coming down the flu, they'll bring up a cup of herbal tea straight to the room without being asked. If you want advice about where to go & what to see, they have plenty of wonderful suggestions and tips about navigating the city without being hassled. The terrace has been transformed in the TurkArt Hotel's newest asset and is already garnering rave reviews in the city's top 10. Now you can enjoy the view from the rooftop terrace while fresh ingredients, that you see being carried up the stairs, are transformed into enormous healthy salads (not any iceberg lettuce and a few meager tomatoes types, mind you) actual huge portions with myriad vegetables, healthy leafy greens and home made pomegranate based balsamic vinegar that's to die for. Then there is the meza plate of traditional Turkish appetizers from tzatziki, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, baba ganoush, etc, as well as a to-die for mixed grill entree of chicken, lamb, and beef that is juicy and not overcooked. And as always, it's hard to say "no" to a complimentary dessert. Smiles all around, you feel like a guest and not a stranger in a foreign land.

The rooms are cozy and very charming. The staff is very helpful and polite. View from the terrace of the hotel is so magical. You're sitting there, on one side You see the Sultan Ahmed, from the other side Hagia Sophia and the breeze of the sea of Marmara quietly whispers that You just have been touched by eternity. It´s difficult to talk about the beauty but Your soul will remember it forever… All monuments are very close. Only about two minutes by walk and You can to ramble through the beautiful gardens of Topkapi Palace or admire the details of the architecture of the temples: the Hagia Sophia, the Sultan Ahmed or Blue Mosque. All these are very close.
