Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe were in the Double Room with Pool View. There were some (relatively minor) problems with the room. Raised threshold at the bedroom door was a safety issue, especially in the dark. Nowhere to conveniently put a medium sized case.
The customer service we experienced in this little hotel was without doubt the best in our three weeks in Türkiye. (Thanks Ibrahim for making our stay so pleasant). Breakfast on the terrace with panoramic views of the town and Ayasouluk Castle is a wonderful way to start the day. A swim in the well maintained pool is great after a day of visiting Ephesus or one of the other interesting places in the area.

United StatesThe area were it's located wasn't that nice, and the road a bit difficult, but it's just a short drive from the center.
The staff was super friendly and helpful during our short stay! The hotel is really nice, and has some lovely views of the sunset.

New ZealandThe only little gripe we had was the noisy air conditioning unit above our bed.
Ibrahim who is front of house is an amazing young man so polite and helpful. He was always happy to drop us off in town and pick us up again. We also really appreciated the owner sorting out the hiccup we had with our Ephesus tour and arranging another tour at no cost for us. Overall lovely staff, nice breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town and having a pool to cool off in the afternoon was a bonus.

FranceI liked everything about the hotel!
Great views (especially at sunset), lovely pool, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, wonderful owners and staff. Really enjoyed my two night stay here - it was a perfect haven to rest and recover from playing tourist at Ephesus and elsewhere in the region in the heat. Pool very welcome! Great advice from owners on dinner venue in town and tourist options.

United StatesIf you are looking for a spot that has breathtaking views, exceptional people that put their best efforts forward to accommodate, and lovely, clean, air conditioned rooms, this is your place. Ibrahim and Okyay Bey are very helpful. Okyay Bey is the expert on the area and Ibrahim is willing to get guests down and up their feisty hill, along with helping on finer details. All staff were smiles and kind. The pool was a fine retreat after a hot and sticky day of walking. By the time I had left, I'd consider them dear friends. Gene hersey için teşekkür ederiz. If you are a hiker it is about 45 minutes to an hour walk to Ephesus. A 15 to 20 minute walk to the museum and St. Johns.

New ZealandVery minor things - The AC unit was quite noisy and I suspect the toilet wasn't draining properly as it was a bit funky smelling.

View from balcony was gorgeous, family room with separate area for the kids, our hosts picked us up and dropped us into town whenever we wanted, the pool was very refreshing after a hot day visiting Ephesus, the breakfast was lovely and as we had an early start on our final day and would miss breakfast, they packed us sandwiches as drinks for our journey. Small beatiful island in Selcuk. Spacious room, great balcony, friendly and helpful owner who gave us great guidance about what and when worth to visit. The villa is located on the top of a hill, follow the owner's guidance when you approach it to avoid scary roads. Breakfast was tasty.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. It is located in a remote area, but it is safe and very peaceful. It's perfect for relaxing by the pool after a lot of travelling. Our room was big and comfortable. And also really clean. Ibrahim did his best to help us and ensure we had a nice stay. He even offered to order dinner for us.
