Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was a bit chilly in my bedroom. There was little on offer in the way of foodstuff in the bar. Nothing to have with your tea in the afternoon, for example, and supplies in the bedroom were skimpy - not enough tea-bags for me, for example. Spacious shower, but the showerhead was not mounted at the right position for me. It was far too high on the wall. The alternative was to detach it from the wall and use it single-handed.
Beautiful beachfront location. Stunning garden, well-maintained. Very pleasant staff. Phenomenal breakfast provided end of season when we were the only three people in the restaurant. The chef certainly knows how to make an omelette.

EgyptTI didn't know there was no elevator and it was difficult to use the stairs all day long. There was no toilet on the second floor where the meeting rooms are so each time we had to go to the first floor...it was too much. Breakfast was just ok ...We expected the famous Turkish breakfast items like semid instead they offered french baguette.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable

United KingdomBreakfast was good in parts. The choice of fruit was limited, sometimes only Watermelon, and no fruit juice The a la carte restaurant was closed, and pizza and lamacun's were unavailable
The hotel was as good as when we stayed there in 2007. The pools are lovely and the setting is superb. All the staff were most helpful

GermanyBreakfast times did not appeal to me. Since they close the breakfast at 10 o'clock sharp. And the open buffet also has not so many dishes. Therefore, improvement is desired here. At least every other day with for example gözleme or börek alternately freshly prepared. In addition, I found the freshly prepared omlet very good.
The location for Akyaka it is the best location in my opinion. Is suitable for pensioners as it is quiet. The facility due to the surveillance staff not be entered by other people who do not belong to the facility. If you come by car, parking is provided inside the complex.

ItalyFor a hotel like this, I would recommend to offer a broader set of pillows with different consistency. The ones available in the room were all equal, too hard and high.
The location and the arrangement are very interesting. The site is relaxing and offers good services.

Great location on the beach, excellent breakfast, nice restaurant if you want to eat on site. Many other restaurants and shops nearby. Free and convenient parking. Hotel is at one end of the beach, away from the noise and crowds. Private beach and beachchairs available. Staff was very caring and helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable. Akyaka beach is lovely, has sandy bottom, shallow water and minimal waves. Note that the water is cool due to water mixing from a river. Do not miss the local boat tours to this beautiful cold spring river!

JordanCleaning staff didn't do much well, mainly in cleanig the toilet and replinishing the toileteers. The toileteers just included hand soap, shampoo and hair conditioner, no shower gell or body lotion. Though there were plenty of towels. Restaurant didn't have many options when I visited for dinner, they were run out of fish and ice cream, yet I found both on nearby places. Breakfast was good though, not the best I had but had all expected stuff. The furniture was a bit old, not too old but it needs to be updated in couple of years for sure.
Location, awsome spot, no crowds when I visited, amaizing seens and landscapes, right on the beach with a private beach, all aminities were close-by, many shops and restaurants around, clean and beautifully designed pools. Warmly welcoming and supportive staff. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

JordanWi-Fi didn’t work in my room which was a bit inconvenient as I had to always depend on my roaming data. I wish I could have had a water kettle and tea/coffee in my room. Bathroom had a slight smell after showering sometimes; shower drain seemed to have a problem as the water drained slowly and sometimes I thought it might overflow. TV and AC seemed quite old but this was not such an issue for me as I don’t watch tv much and I rarely used thr AC; when I did use it, it worked fine. Sometimes it was difficult to communicate in English as it seems not all staff speak English, but this never caused a major problem. Eventually either an English speaker showed up or I managed to get my idea across to the Turkish speaker. I found it strange that Nail Cakirhan’s house was not always accessible for guests. I feel it should be regularly open like a museum.
beautiful location and access to the sea, lovely beach lounge area, quiet and relaxing, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast area with ocean view, loved the jam selection and honeycomb at breakfast, also good selection of bread types and vegetables, room was clean, cute balcony, lovely premises overall, loved the ducks and fish in the stream, great proximity to restaurants and forest. Also the hotel accommodated for my early flight time and allowed me to have an early check in. I also loved the location of my room. The architectural design of the hotel is lovely. Added value was the entrance from the hotel to Architect Nail Cakirhan’s house!

TurkeyThe location is very good as you have direct access to the beach and also walk to the center in 5 min to all bars and the restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel as well if you don want to go to the center and the food is delicious. All Staff are very nice and family friendly 😊 they were very kind to my 3 years old daughter. The swimming pools are exactly like in the pictures and clean. Hotel is very quiet and has a nice atmosphere with green and flowers.

Saudi ArabiaI would have liked to see a bit more life - the place was quite deserted - but I am sure that this was due to the ongoing pandemic. It seemed a shame for the lovely staff.
Extremely helpful staff, especially Belma on the front desk, she was so helpful answering all my questions! They upgraded me to a family room with a lovely view as there were so few guests being out of season. Huge and delicious breakfast. Gorgeous pool areas, lovely little stream with fish, ducks and terrapins :-). Rooms overlooking this stream, the pool or out towards the beach have the best views from their balconies. There are some balconies that only overlook the car park or another building.
