How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location and the size of the room. It’s just next to a MRT station and that is so close to the popular market. Staff is friendly and you also can get free parking hotel.. highly recommended

We would like to have a bit more equipments in the gym.
The rooms are exceptionally spacious. Since we are travelling as a family with 4, having a living room allows us to spend time together.

I prefer top locations though this wasn’t bad. They only had maps in Chinese, though the desk reception did manage to print out a few places around the hotel in English.
Lovely big modern room. Very nice coffee that they topped up daily ( you need to buy your own milk). Very close to a metro. Close to one of the night markets.

Good central location to explore the city. The hotel room is spacious and very new. Front desk staff was very considerate to allow early check in when she saw my young child. We had wonderful rest there.

Nothing. The only thing, which is a tiny criticism, the hotel lacked personality. It was a little bit bland.
Enormous, tastefully decorated room. Spotlessly clean. Help-your-self snacks and drinks available to all guests. Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Free parking under the hotel.

The breakfast and the gym were unremarkable, with limited choices.
The room was spacious and modern, we would definitely stay again. Quite central but without being exposed to noise areas, so it was quiet and enjoyable. The bed was really comfortable.

A bit walk from Main station. There is a local station near by but not convenient if you use High Speed Rail from other cities.
Very clean and spacious. Front desk staff were so friendly.

Everything was perfect.
Superb location, spacious and clean room, looks even better than in the pictures. Staff were kind and helpful, they allowed early check-in which we really appreciated after a long travel in such humid weather. Would definitely come back again!

The two washing machines and dryers in the laundry room are very useful, but during busy periods (8pm-10pm), a few more units might improve the guest experience.
Our family spent two wonderful nights in the hotel's theme suite! Beyond the exceptionally friendly staff and convenient free parking, we were delighted by the property's stylish IKEA-inspired design. The modern furnishings and creative ocean-themed decor absolutely captivated our children - every detail enhanced our stay.

Perhaps the breakfast should have more variety. But over All very Good breakfast.

Had a huge room to myself. Plenty of couches, kitchen area with kettle and sink, nice bathroom. Hotel facilities overall could be improved eg all other hotels I visited in Taiwan had complementary laundry machines but this one cost 50NTD each for the washing machine and dryer. Rooms were also not too soundproof especially near the door, and lifts were often busy so you had to wait a few minutes as there are only 2 lifts to cover 16 floors. Location was pretty good, easy to bike around or take the subway from Cianjin which is around the corner.

Room is big, spacious and comfortable. Close to train station and easy access to Pier 2 Art centre and tram station. Buffet breakfast was great with fresh fruits, salads, porridge and sandwich for starting the day. Pillow could be firmer for better sleep.

Free snack and drinks are a bit ho-hum, just biscuits and tea/coffee.
Unbelievable value with extra large room and very good breakfast. Right next to Cianjin MRT station. Great city views from bed, Kaohsiung has a great skyline at night. Good laundry.
