“Hotel perfect to cut yourself off. Acces to the ocean dorrctly yo water by the steps. Amazing garden. Swimming pool small but enough. Bar and restaurant ( small portions, good if you are on diet ) normal turistic prisces. Amazing view. Good beds. Rooms simple minimalistic with taste. Calm. Music all the time but adapted to a time of the day. Possible to have a fire in the garden if people wants. Hamacs everywhere. Shadow if needed and massage in a hut between palms. Perfect place for relax without a.contact to the world. Internet wifi no problem. Perfect for sunsets 🥰 Sand paths so don't take suitcase ( they have a solution for that - they will take wheelbarrow to transport your bags but its better to come with backpack for your own comfort ) ..”
“Breakfast and food overall was exceptional. Freshly made everyday. I am gluten free and they took care of that very well. Close by (walking distance) are cute cafes and a turtle cave. Sleeping in bungalows is of course not luxurious but very cosy, you can hear the ocean all night. I recommend it to everyone.”
“Our stay at Promised Land Lodge has been nothing short of amazing.
The view, vibes, welcoming staff, phenomenal service and the delicious food were too die for. When we had to book out we were so so sad....the staff were like family (Chacha, Shakira, Mariam, Ali, Peter, Mudi, Sativa). We received a fruit juice and complentary fruit plate every morning. The room service staff made up the room so cute and they loved to help!
With every need, the staff were there every step to make sure everything was up to par.
Also...all the activities that were arranged through the Lodge were amazing!
My husband and i are DEFINITELY going back in the near future!!”
“Great remote location, very friendly staff who really worked hard to maximise the enjoyment of our holiday. Mr. Hanna, the Restaurant Manager, was very friendly and helpful and gave us a good all inclusive deal during our stay. Tasty buffet food from a good friendly chef, with amazing sea views from the restaurant. A beach with real character with the Kizimkazi locals. The animation team, Halid & Pascal were fun, friendly and encouraging to take part in activities like aqua gym, botcha (boules) and fun African dancing! We really enjoyed the relatively quiet and authentic Zanzibar experience, which had far fewer pestering Maasai beach boys than other resorts (& the few who were there seemed more relaxed & less pushy!). Great for swimming at high tide and good for beach exploring, walking and running at low tide. Useful to have a pool, also with the sea view.”
“I loved the pool, the room was lovely and the staff were all so welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay. It was a short walk to the beach which was good, and the nearby beach was pretty quiet compared to further down which was really nice.”
“Nice and clean appartment (no.1), very comfortable beds, smazing garden and surrounding area, nice and clean swimming pool. You can catch good vibe in this place.”
