facilities were very nice and night mode was exceptional and swimming pool was great to use. Nicole the owner was very nice and friendly and she was taking care of all her visitors and making sure that they are enjoying their time. Definitly will go again when I visit Zanzibar.

The food was a bit hit and miss, but on the whole pretty good.

Absolutely stunning propoerty for a great price. Defintely feels like an intimate luxury resort, but it's very simple. The rooms are done up really beautifully and the space is gorgeous. staff are so friendly too. Defintely a good shout for zanzibar! `it is right on the beach, perfect location!

Amazing place! We stayed in a two story lodge which was beautiful may I add. Air conditioner and fan were also in the room which helped a lot with the heat! The outside shower was definitely the highlight for me and my family! There were only a few lodges which made it feel very private and secluded. The pool was a few meters away from us and so was the beach. The restaurant had amazing options for VERY reasonable prices in addition to being delicious! The place was beautiful beyond belief. I 100% recommend you visit here.

I loved the modern beautiful chalets, the staff was amazing, location is just right at the beach, that was just amazing. Food was great and tasty. Also the pool area was just top notch. We booked the Baladin lovers package for my husband’s 40th celebration and wow they went over and beyond with ensuring that the celebration was a success. The 4 course dinner was amazing. The decor? Breathtaking and beautiful. Well done Baladin Team.

This place is the best stay of Zanzibar. It’s a tropical paradise, right by the beach and great location just a quick walk away from the famous rock restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, loved the decor and especially the outdoor bathroom gives a more island feel . The pool is warm and with great views . The staff is friendly, easy to book excursions with the team and they recommend what would be the best excursions for us . Everything was exceptional, definitely coming back for a girls trip there because it’s so peaceful, it’s was like an eat pray love Zanzibar experience.

The location was exactly what we needed after a safari experience on the main land. We were able to fully lay back and relax. The famous ‘The Rock’ restaurant was a short walk away from us (on the beach front). Pingwe beach is a short drive from Paje (known for water sports).

I liked most of the things, unfortunately I did not have enough time to try all the facilities. I did not really have any issues so I am looking forward to go back.

The food is generally amazing in baladin. I would make sure I can have most of my meals in the hotel since some of the dishes are really amazing. The reception and staff are extremely friendly and proffesional.

Baladin is the perfect location for relaxing and resetting in paradise! The hotel is gorgeous, everyone who works here has the kindest energy, so helpful. The room was gorgeous, taking a shower with the palm trees was a highlight.

Well structured bungalows with artistic pieces where the outdoor bathroom was the main highlight and well stocked with organic toiletries . The food from the restaurant was very tasty with reasonable prices and not forgetting the friendly staff .Great for families who are looking for a place with a laid back vibe and also a less crowded hotel which offers great privacy .

I did not like having animals roaming freely in the restaurant where I'm eating. They even jumped on another table. I'm not used to seeing animals in the restaurant being from USA.

I love the room and the size of it. I love being right on the beach and how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The food was also good. The Baladin was amazing, especially for the price.

The Property Is Perfect!!!!

The property is beautiful well maintained, beach was clean, staff was excellent and the Bungalow style resort was perfect!!! Oh and I forgot to mention the famous TikTok restaurant The Rock is literally a 5 minute walk. The live band was jamming and the drinks were good!!

There’s nothing I disliked, but I do have a suggestion. There is is some seating in front of the restaurant that doesn’t seem to get used. This would make an excellent spot for a bar, that would make for a good pre dinner meeting spot. It would encourage interaction between guests.
