Needs to be brought back up to what I assume it used to be, not of cleaning of the concrete in the common areas and trimming the plants. You can tell it was really beautiful (like in the photos) but that was probably5 years ago

The beds make a lot of noise during sleep moving around it wakes you up every time, you also sink or roll to the middle of the bed. It’s not comfortable at all. The toilet seat was loose which they replaced during our stay which I was grateful for however the whole toilet moves when you sit on it and waking up at 3am to do se the toilet and forgetting might just fall.

This place is Halaal, has good breakfast and fresh fruit juices the best on the island. The rooms are cleaned every morning fresh and cute bedding design changes with flowers which really just make your day. The young staff keep the place bubbly Ibrahim and muddy really were great tour guides. Always on time and never in a bad mood. In fact this place surprised me every day it gets even more beautiful

The property could use a facelift. There were visible tarps on the thatched roofs. The rooms are in need of some general maintenance, eg., toilet was loose, window screen had holes, the railing was broken, we were without water a couple of times. This was often resolved within an hour.

Good location next to the beach and within walking distance of many good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room can do with a closet atleast to store our stuff, there is no tv. We experienced a few power cuts everyday of our stay.

The breakfast was delicious, the staff is very helpful. The beach is so peaceful although locals are always trying to sell you stuff

Very hard and high beds. Outside garden areas needed tidying. Little information given about food or drink or timings. Really annoying being constantly hassled to buy things even when you were on sunbed or in a bar, or even in the hotel area. Lack of hot water to wash or shower.

The air conditioning did not function well, but once we switched to opening the screened patio door the breeze kept us cool.

Jambiani is a very quiet beach town, with little tourist infrastructure. We stayed for two days to relax and White Sands was a lovely place right on the beach. Great location, friendly staff, and the basics that you need.

Bathroom was stinky and toilet seat was broken, it could not remain open without holding it. Personel did their best but the owner should invest and renovate it.

Everything’s a bit slow esp in the morning to get coffee but everybody friendly They could do a bit more to attract people for dinner - like life music or special meals - pool on picture is more a colored bath tub - tiny

The AC was not working well. So room was really hot.

There wasn't loads around in the local area that you could walk to in the evening - bars/restaurants etc. But we found a couple of places nearby.

The staff were so friendly. The rooms were comfortable - with great air con and mosquito nets on the beds and windows! The location is stunning - right by an incredible beach. Is it was a great base for exploring the south of the island.

No drinking water apart from the first day. Only thing room was supposed to have a balcony with garden view.no really a balcony when only 1 chair can fit .view was to a wall not a garden.for this I do not blame the staff at hotel but was definitely wrong to do.i was disappointed which is a shame .

Like the Breakfast.like the location .just by the beach. Suleiman one member of staff was amazing he went out of his way to help when our car had a flat battery.

The room was small for two people and the toilet seat was not fitted so was uncomfortable. The area where we could sit out was small No alcohol served. Very small pool.

The situation was excellent with a choice of places to eat The staff very friendly and always there to help. The standard of cleaning was excellent.

As my original booking with Five Palms was a nightmare- they had no electricity or water. The staff at White Sands assisted me with a early check in, coffee and help with everything.

We got woken up a few times during the night by partying guests arriving home, the soundproofing is not good. The pool was also a bit dirty but still nice.

Great location right on Jambiani beach, beautiful beach. It is at the end of Jambiani so you need to walk a bit to get to other restaurants and bars but it’s quieter than other parts of the beach. The staff are lovely and were keen to help arrange taxis and tours etc. The rooms were very clean and had everything that you needed.
