It's old and too expensive for what you get. And my room was too noisy. I could hear street noise early morning and late at night even though I asked for a quiet room. Disappointed about no water at breakfast buffet. I had to get hot water and wait until it got colder (I drink only normal water and it was disappointing to see only coffee, juice from a box and not fresh, and hot water for tea there).

Wifi worked mostly well. Breakfast was ok, I was glad to have fresh fruit there (I don't eat anything else). There were a few other breakfast options though (just a few). Good location, walking distance to the ferry and right in the city center. One hotel receptionist was a bit weird when I was checking in but all the other employees were fine.

Hotel rooms ( specially bathrooms) need desperate fixing. It is bit out of hands... cleaning and fixing part of rooms is not good! Breakfast is ok but you have to look away when you see waiter, his closes need washing machine!

Very good location! 500 m from harbour. Take the hotel when you are not very picky about cleaning.... and you need good place to stay in center. It has air conditioner. I was ready for total disaster ( by reading reviews) but at least our sheets were clean and room was clean (bathroom not so much). But staff was very nice and our airport transfer at 2 am ordered by hotel was super, new car and on time!! And with reasonable price!

The bed is rock hard, it is very very dirty, they only mop the floor, otherwise nothing is cleaned. everything is in ruin, not at all well kept. the breakfast is very poor, only the instant coffee is ok.

the staff is great, Nasma and Ijaz compensated for the horrible rooms. The rooms are big indeed and there is a nice view from the 10th floor. the location is good, being in the center and close to the ferry to zanzibar.

The elevator was broken and I was stuck in it for 5-10 minutes while it suddenly stopped moving. Very scary! The staff didn’t even give me an apology whatsoever. There was a cockroach in the room and the hot shower never worked.

Ok place. Very close to the ferry terminal. The receptionist was very helpful. It is what it is. Nothing special but it was relatevely clean and only 5 min away walking to the ferry terminal. I would use it again but I know that some people wouldn't.

The manager is comprehensive.

Outside the window you are exposed to neighbor clothes, noise of vehicles. No water in room, there is not non slipper. Breakfaster is worse. Restaurant staff are not professional and the restaurant is missing many items.
