Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceWe stayed two nights at Aroma Eco Cabin, tucked away on a peaceful coffee farm — it’s simple, rustic, and full of charm. If you’re looking for something authentic with a warm, laid-back atmosphere, this is the place. The team is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to chat or assist with anything. They can also organize safaris and excursions, which is super convenient. And you can eat on-site, with delicious food served in a chill, communal vibe. Great spot to slow down and enjoy nature. We loved it!

SpainA beautiful place nestled in nature, surrounded by coffee plantations. Our room was super comfortable and cozy, tastefully decorated in a rustic style. The hot water worked perfectly. We were welcomed with open arms from the moment we arrived. What stood out the most was the warmth and good vibes of the owners — truly lovely people.

United KingdomI only got hot water for a minute or so in the shower.
We loved our stay - the location on the coffee farm was so special and the rooms were quirky and rustic. Saleh and Emmanuel the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and the food was tasty and nourishing. Would highly recommend the coffee tour too - we learnt so much and loved being able to follow the process from bean to cup!

Switzerland-
I found a home at Aroma Home. What an incredibly wonderful place. My room was very cozy and homey, with a comfortable bed, a very functional mosquito net (a device they constructed themselves), and a great bathroom. "Superbombastic," the warmth and support of Emmanuel and Saleh, the extensive, generous breakfast, the delicious dinner, the fantastic natural surroundings with crickets and bird songs, the wonderful swing on my balcony, and the entire fascinating accommodation they built themselves (they have more exciting plans for the future). They also offer cooking classes, safaris, cafe tours, excursions to waterfalls, support to women's projects, etc. Saleh and Emmanuel are two very practical, talented men with big hearts. I will definitely come back!

GermanyThe water from the sink didn't work, but you could use the shower to do everything with it
We stayed there as a group of three, and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we were only there for one short night, but we would have loved to stay longer. The accommodation is located just outside the city in a beautiful area, not too far from everything. The room, designed in a tjreehouse style on a coffee farm surrounded by nature, was truly exceptional. Upon arrival, we were greeted with two bottles of water, which was a nice touch. The hosts were very kind, they even picked us up from the airport late at night for a normal fee. Additionally, the hand-crafted coffee from the farm was excellent. Thank you for the short but wonderful stay!

New ZealandBeautiful room, loved the scenery outside, and the nature chill out space at Kingstone Asilia just next-door was great for a solo traveller as the hosts were so friendly and had other guests visiting just for socialising. He also told me I'd be welcome to invite any of my own friends over in the future too for drinks or dinner :) Hosts were amazing and made me feel safe and welcome during my stay; also had great local recommendations! Highly recommend to any travellers!

BelgiumOur stay here was unforgettable! The hosts were incredibly personal and spent time with us, making us feel like part of their family. They share a deep passion for dancing, and we even got the chance to join a unique dance lesson from their friend. They also recommended other exciting dance activities and lessons in the area. We only stayed one night but truly wished it had been longer. They enthusiastically told us about all the amazing things they could show us, like a coffee tour, a hike to a stunning waterfall, and vibrant Arusha dance parties. Communication was excellent, and the home-cooked meals were incredible—shared together in a cozy, family-style setting. The place itself is gorgeous, eco-friendly, and filled with good vibes. The fact that they built it all themselves and are continually expanding makes it even more special. If you're taking the bus, let them know—they can pick you up, or you can do a half-hour walk to the property. Highly recommend this unique and welcoming spot, Super boombastic!

Perfect Blend of Nature and Luxury! Had an amazing stay at this beautiful place! The decor is stunning and super beautiful. The swing on the balcony with a view over the coffee plantation was a highlight. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the hosts were so friendly, helping me with airport transfers and a SIM card on arrival. The vegetarian buffet dinners were delicious and great value at 20,000tsh! I also recommend using their tour partner, Kingstone Asilia – I visited the hot springs and Napuru, and can’t wait to do a proper safari with them next time! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay. I’ll definitely be back!

United KingdomThe rooms aren't very soundproof which is great for hearing the birdsong and nature (it's like a lullaby to sleep!) but if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs.
It was my first time visiting East Africa and Tanzania and I was really nervous, but these guys were so friendly that I immediately felt completely relaxed and happy to be there. The accommodation is in a really peaceful area with lots of beautiful birdsong in the morning, and it was nice to be a bit further from the city centre in their little piece of paradise, rather than being overwhelmed by the noise and car fumes of the city

United StatesIt’s a bit far from the main city but the public transport is super easy to get from the area into to town with no issues. The owners also helped me with taxi numbers and everything so it was still great.
The property is very cute! The house is super nice and has great furnishings especially as a private escape. The bar that’s near by, Kingstone, is really great as well has great prices and is nice and social during the weekends. It’s also very close to Venerate Orphanage if you’re interested in volunteering there the kids are so sweet and the main director owns the property so it’s very easy. The owners are great as well and are so helpful with everything I needed during my stay.
