The prices. Forced to eat elsewhere as the beers and sodas were triple the cost of other places up the road. I drank a lot less than normal or bought outside!

I loved our second room after we moved from the small one. Breakfast was good and the chef really keen to please.

Everything was beautiful and enjoyable. I would love to visit again. The room, breakfast and beach experiences were perfect for my vacation get away. The staffs were warm to me.

One evening I decided to order dinner from the restaurant and when it eventually came, the meat was a bit tough though very delicious but the accompaniment (chapatti) had a bitter taste. Turns out it was under cooked (the dough was raw on the inside).

Everything was just perfect. Clean, well serviced and the ambiance was amazing. The staff were welcoming and very nice. I loved their willingness to assist all through and it was genuine hospitality.

If you want to enjoy the beach you might be a bit disappointed because at this side of Dar Es Salaam the beaches and water are usually dirty. Even though they are always hard working to take all the litter away! Even though the view and the lovely sea breeze is still there! And if you want to swim just enjoy the pools!

Good breakfast with many options, nice food in the restaurant as well. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Friendly staff who are always there to help a hand. Free access to Water World which is a nice place for kids to slide in the pool. Also the pools near the hotel are nice with the option of getting food and drinks. One pool is also open for locals, while the other pool is only for hotel guests.

The lead time to service rooms was longer. maybe due to the issue of thoroughness.

The breakfast was superb and do recommend other people to make White Sands Hotel their priority whenever they visit Tanzania.

Just be aware that there are a lot of events happening at the hotel during weekends.

The bed was very comfortable, great view of the garden and beach. The breakfast had a ton of variety, and all the staff were well trained and friendly.

A part of the property hasn't been filtered from the ocean's tide garbage, and the hotel seems overwhelmed and doesn't even clean it up. That was the part where our rooms were. It was such an eye-sore and smelly, too. Hopefully, they work it out. There was a booking error that the hotel couldnt help with booking.com, so we got charged an extra night by booking.com and also paid the same at the hotel.

We arrived late in the night, but we were well placed in our rooms. The staff was always at hand. The location is great (by the shore), and the lawns are well-manicured. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable, with a balcony.
