Nothing really - parking was a bit limited but that’s all!!

SUPER CLOSE to the west entrance of Yellowstone!!! Had a nice little kitchenette too! We could have walked to the entrance! This is important with this park because the park is so big & you do so much driving in the park that it is nice to be this close to the entrance!!!

Room was very nice..there was extra space where microwave and stove was kept. One can even cook some basic food. Also location is very good...very near to West gate

I missed a Microwave, which would have been convenient. The TV had somehow a bad antenna/cable connection as the picture was often not really clean. And finally I really believe that it is overpriced for what it is.

It was close to the Yellowstone Park. I could park the car right in front of the room, which was very convenient. It was all clean and I was able to easily warm up the room during its righter cold nights.

The location is superb. It’s the closest building from the Park’s west gate.

Nothing really. The fridge could have been bigger. Worth considering coffee/tea access also by the reception.

Great location very close to the park entrance and visitor center. Friendly staff and quick access to coffee/tea. Close also to the super market and bars/restaurants.

Gentleman that checked us in was not very friendly but made up for it a little the next day. Did not like not having an outlet in the bathroom and thought the old lighted mirrors that no longer had lights were long overdue to be replaced! Room 5

Even though I wasn’t actually in the room much, a microwave would have been useful.

It is close to Yellowstone. It’s not on a main street so it’s super quiet. Everything you need is within walking distance.

It's hard to find a cup of coffee before 7:00.

West Yellowstone is a really cool little town...close to Yellowstone but with a very cool vibe. Al's Westward Ho was a good, clean place to stay.

Parking was a little crowded and tricky. It would have been nice to have better parking designations with the lines in the asphalt

Loved that the location was so close to the park entrance and not in the middle of town. It fit our needs perfectly. This is such an old established business, it looks a bit funky on the exterior, but the insides are updated, clean and charming.

Old Motel, but everything is very clean. Everyone was super helpful. It is as close as you possibly can get to the entrance of Yellowstone.

Location was perfect. Close to the park, and easy to get to the town. Had everything you needed, though I was close to the stairs, so occasionally got noisy.

Mattress was a little lumpy, no on-site coffee. (They do have a partner-ship with a service station just around the corner that gives free coffee/tea to guests of the motel but it didn’t open early enough for us before we had to hit the road.)

First I’ll say this, Al’s motel was probably the cleanest motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The cleaning staff pays attention to the detail and didn’t just do a surface clean, awesome job! Second part is that Al’s motel was recommended in a couple different travel blogs as being affordable. Based on other motels/hotels/B&B’s, it really was at the lower end of price per night. With that said it was still just over $200 a night. It was a great one night stop over before our Yellowstone adventure.
