More variety of the food offered at the restaurant- especially for breakfast.

Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent location- convenient to everything in Waikiki. Close to the bus stops and ABC stores. A real find, considering that few guidebooks mention this property.

The valet parking is too expensive and it’s difficult to find street parking around the hotel. For most of the days we were lucky enough to find one, so if you’re staying here and you’re renting a car, make sure you know where you plan to park.

The location is very good as main street is within 5 min walking, and the beach is only 15 min walking distance away! The welcoming free beer everyday at 4-5pm is a good refreshment and the morning free hot tea/ small drip of coffee is also nice!

Onsite restaurant would of been handy. Hot tub would be nice too.

Not too far away from Waikiki Beach, or the other direction was a short walk to Ala Moana or Walmart. Rooms were very spacious, huge Bathroom!

Depending on who, staff was not very attentive A lot of fees (resort fees etc) for such a simple hotel, 10min away from the beach

Location! Not beachfront but at a walking distance It's cute and modern. We had a pleasant stay

The breakfast is limited. Not real coffee. Just poured black coffee with bad taste. It would have been better to have real espresso or latte.

I like the room and bathroom. It was renovated recently.

The shower was cold and took a while to warm up. Just a recommendation, it would be awesome to put some lights around the ‘AMBASSADOR’ original signage on the side of the hotel. This would definitely make Romer stand out, as a classic hotel. We saw Romer from a distance, and aesthetically would be nice to see the original signage up and lit at night.

We are so grateful for the kind staff, amazing view of the room and thankful for the room upgrade.

The hotel is located in the centre of Waikiki, so it is sometimes a bit noisy at night. But still it is worth it! The gym smells a bit like plastic, but if you leave the door open it not so bad anymore.

The hotel is very well located. Waikiki Beach is only a 10 min walk. There is a public bus (2, bus stop located in front of the hotel) that goes 25 minutes to Diamond Head. The rooms ar very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We booked with breakfeast included and wow was the breakfeast good! Extraordinary. Usually you get a muffin and a coffee, but here you get a really delicious sandwich or a fruit platter including a coffee. Really delicious. There is a pool and a gym, both are clean and you can use them almost 24/7.

    A Comfortable Stay in Waikiki

Although the bed was very comfortable, it was very difficult to get a good night’s rest due to the noise from outside which was very loud. The garbage trucks at 4am were especially annoying. Our room was on the 11th floor and it felt like we had our windows open on the first floor! Parking was also very expensive and not included in the resort fee.

The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and outdoor mall. The room was refurbished and spacious. It had a mini fridge which was useful. Check in was fast and efficient and the staff was always friendly. We always felt safe returning in the evening.

The check-out time is a too early (11 am), and the late fee is $30 per hour. Considering I stayed for 5 nights, if the check-out time could be extend to 1pm freely would be really appreciated. In addition, there is no light in the pool, so swimming after the sunset is a bit emmm, and some chairs around the pool is always marked as 'reserved'.

The location is really good, walking to waikiki only takes about 15 minutes, and you can take a direct bus to airport and other attractions easily. I do love my room view, and the swimming pool is good too, staffs are helpful and friendly, would definately recommend to others. Room decoration is new and modern, and there do provide free drinks in the mini bar. I left a message asked if it is possible to live in a higher floor and received a 14th floor room, really love it.

Our first room had cold water but the staff upgraded us to a better room with stunning view after they were unable to resolve the issue. Waiting for ice to be brought to room can take a while.

I didn't like I had to order, wait and tip for ice. I don't like that rooms are only cleaned every 2nd day, with the beach, towels and sand rooms should be cleaned daily. I did not share my room so it was fine for just me, but had I been sharing I would have required service daily. No glasses in the rooms, and I requested multiple times, they brought paper and plastic, guess there is not a glass on site. The check in area was a bit understaffed, and there amenities outside of the room lack luster. Didn't go to the pool because it didn't look inviting, but I did go down there and there were a handful of people but no one in the pool.

The rooms are we appointed, the door was a little sketchy, I always had to check to see if it was closed, because the wind blew right through (old door) everything else was renovated and clean, and spacious. The towels were soft which is a major plus for me. Lighting is good, bed and linens were comfortable and clean. Nice size shower and good water pressure.

The resort fee per night was ridiculously high for the offerings when added to the cost of the room. There is a clean but modest pool with cabanas that had to be reserved, and a small pool bar. There are facility improvements in the plans (no onsite construction now), so their food offerings are minimal but nicely prepared, and no other amenities. It is possible to lock yourself out on the balcony. oops. We were awakened each night by very early - before daylight - construction work across the street, but we sleep with the window open.

Check in was easy and smooth, The spacious room and bath had recently been updated. The simple on-site breakfast was convenient and nicely prepared and presented. It is a short walk to the Waikiki beach and larger resort areas. The area is very walkable, with the large park-like grounds of Ft Debussy right across the street. Easy walk to restaurants and both souvenir and high end shopping.
