Perhaps a bit of a freshen up in the rooms but overall great to have a fridge and good coffee provided thank you.

Great location in a very quaint but quirky little street. Loved the swinging chair on the balcony in the evening. Lots of fun. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Close to Yosemite, friendly staff, but walls too thin, so noisy.

They leave on a hall light at night, which shines into the room through a stained glass window, leaving it quite bright in the room. The walls are PAPER THIN and they put people right next to each other unnecessarily. Neighbors woke me up late at night until I banged on the wall and they quieted down. Shower dripped constantly, in spite of my efforts.

Location was convenient to Yosemite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Building was old and interesting history.

Not updated and by that I mean the tiny excruciatingly loud box wall heater was useless and made my dogs and I a little concerned. The parking lot is a Bermuda triangle do NOT park in the back if you want to get out within 15 minutes of navigating thru tiny spaces, I've never seen anything like it

Location and overall concept. I like the cottage atmosphere

The property is rather old and needs some renovation. The shower head did not work and was hanging loose. The ac unit stopped working on one evening after we returned. We had booked a cottage room, which as per the pictures has a kitchenette. Our room did not have that.

The reception lady was very welcoming and gave us a fee good suggestions about the area. The property is located an hour away from Yosemite and has good restaurants and fun things to do around. There is plenty of open space to hang around and also to barbecue.

We had a good Saturday stay for a family wedding.

The adjoining door scraped loudly on the floor. We needed at least two more chairs at the kitchen table. In the room with 3 beds, one bed's frame was rickety and had two support slats on the floor. Also in that room, the bathroom's top door hinge had broken away from the wall. The service lights outside were too bright, and we would have appreciated black-out curtains. I think the parking area should be improved, cleaned up, and a turn-around area created.

I liked the two cabins with the adjoining door for my extended family members. The beds were great, and the whole place was very clean, although run-down. The location was great, and the staff was always available. The bathrooms were small but very clean and serviceable, and the TV service and WIFI was great. The cabin's kitchen had a full-size refrigerator, cook surface, sink, and microwave, although you'd need to provide your own cooking supplies. We had a pre-schooler in the family group, and the adjoining cabins had good space to spread out.

Had feral cats and cans of cat food sitting everywhere. Parking was in an alley that was extremely difficult to get in and out of. Asked for two beds when booking the reservation but was given a room with one bed. Hot water was essentially non-existent, only got to luke warm. They provided cooking ware which I at first thought was pretty cool but then realized they were all scratched teflon pans. Floor was so dirty we had to ask staff to mop it again and it was dirty after that as well. TV stopped working on our third day there. Overhead light also stopped working on our third day there. Water tasted off and made us sick. Had someone living in a shed at the end of the alley. Dishes they provided were dirty. Tried to charge me $250 after our stay claiming that we had taken things that we had not, luckily my card declined.

Nothing, it sucked and I won’t be returning.

The fridge was leaking water on the floor we cleaned that up. Microwave wasn’t working. We had that replaced. It was super dirty on top and behind the fridge. These people don’t know how to clean a room properly. All in all the property is very poorly maintained. It’s got great potential. To bad there is no one with the insight ,time, and money to make this hotel the gem that it could be. Almost feel sorry for the people running the place.

The room was cute and the windows overlooked the town that was the best part. The manager and staff were decent and nice. I asked about the basket of breakfast goodies and was told I would receive it as long as I didn’t get a discount when I booked the room. I paid full price so I did get the basket. Quiet room with a comfortable bed.

I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn Royal Carriage for one night with three friends, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was dirty, with a broken mattress and a mini-fridge that made loud noises throughout the night. The entire place felt outdated and had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, the guests in the adjacent room were extremely noisy, keeping us awake until 3 AM despite our attempts to address the issue. While the staff were kind and tried to be helpful, the overall atmosphere was unprofessional. We noticed a messy and dirty kitchen area behind the reception, which was concerning. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a deeply disappointing experience that I hope others can avoid.

Staff were kind and helpful, they gave us some tips.
