The toilet wasn't clean. The whole place was kinda dingy, I never figured out if there was a continental breakfast. There was no make up mirror and no counter space in the bathroom so I basically had to do my make up by muscle memory.. The towels had some stains. There were a lot of stains.

The hotel was a better price than others in the area. The room was a good temperature. I did not see any bugs, it was not very noisy and seemed safe. The water was hot enough. There was an empty mini fridge and a grocery store on the corner, so I saved money on drinks and snacks. There was a microwave and ice machine at the end of the hall. They let ne check out late. There was an iron and hair dryer.

The staff was unkind and hated to be bothered. Some spoke no English. The rooms were extremely small for two people, the water pressure was weak when I asked the staff about it. I was told to let the water run for ten minutes, then try the shower. All in all, I give it a 4 out of ten.

I like that the hotel was connected to a Mexican restaurant that was absolutely the best. Love the architecture of the buildings. The area is quite pricey, so prepare to spend some money.

Facilities were worn, stains on the hallway ceiling etc. and room had a funky smell for the first 24 hours that seemed to be emanating from pipes. Primary issue was that the shower at first wouldn't turn fully off for the first 2 days; then, on Day 3, it wouldn't turn on at all so I just washed hair in the sink before checkout. I admittedly did not raise these issues with the staff so I can't say how the hotel would have responded.

The staff were wonderful, location was great - very walkable to NIH and various restaurants, pharmacies, services, and the Medical Center metro to get to downtown DC in 20min or so. Room was also very clean.

The parking lot was so small and narrow that parking was very difficult. Our room was mostly clean but there were noticeable staining on the walls and our TV did not work during the stay. The air conditioner wasn’t public in when we arrived which implies to me that there’s a general lack of care in preparing the rooms.

The location was great and the price was good. The bed and the bathroom were very clean.

The front office staff was very not helpful, basically ignored me. And the parking was non-existent. The are only about 15 spaces available and most of those were taken up by restaurant goers. I had to park a few blocks away, park for overnight parking and then walk my luggage through the streets.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear - which, perhaps, is not unexpected. Despite attempts by the staff to rectify, the TV remote didn't work properly. The room window blind had detached from its fixture; the smoke alarm was dangling from its wiring in the ceiling - though the staff confirmed it was working properly; the sink plug was not operational so the sink couldn't be filled and when I asked for this to be rectified the staff member said I could just as easily block the sink with a hand towel when I needed to... Room was not made up until the third day of my visit.

Check in and check-out was seamless. Location was ideal for a visit to NIH. The staff were very responsive and quick to respond to requests/queries.

Furnitures in the room and services were quite old and outdated. Nothing to see with the pictures in the website (maybe taken 209 years ago) swimming pool out of order.

The room was small and cramped, the shower was very hard to get working at a good temperature, though sufficiently hot with a lot of fiddling. The elevator smelled of wet socks, the charge outlet by the bed failed to charge my phone over night, and the handle literally fell off in the floor when I shut the door. Do yourself a favor and spend the $30 more to stay at the Bethesda next door.

The room was available within my alotted price limit. Fridge in the room was nice, bed was comfortable. Decent location.

The parking wasn't that great, you couldn't park next to the hotel there wasn't enough space. So you have to park on the street and pay a meter, then drive across the street to park. A lot of traffic to cross but not to bad. I would stay there again for the price and location is a plus.
