We were not aware of the early check-in fee until we arrived; would be nice to know when booking. Also, prefer to have little coffee bar in the room. While there is one in the lobby, one in room is more convenient.

Room could have been a bit cleaner and the sink is outside the bathroom making it a bit uncomfortable to use that way. A lot of workers sleep in the hotel and park their working trucks there making it hard to park your car

Air conditioning was very loud. Weather was very warm so much needed during the night. Kept turning on and off rather than constant fan, so disturbed sleep. When AC was on could not her traffic. When AC was off, could hear traffic. Bathroom somewhat dated, but very clean. Not many places to eat nearby, suitable for vegetarians.

We were a family of 4 adults. We had 2 rooms. The beds were very large, plenty of room to spread out. The rooms were also very large, so plenty of room for luggage. Air conditioning was very welcome as was fridge. Location was convenient for the train station to go in to New Haven. Parking space outside the room so easy for luggage.

The only thing to improve (and it's minor) is to have slightly less plumpy pillows on the beds.

The motel is a short drive to a beach and to the Branford Trolley Trail, which is a pleasant place to walk. The Sky Diner across the street from the motel has good food for a decent price. Check-in was simple, it was quiet at night, the room was clean and spacious.

The parking lot is almost impossible to get out of when it is full. That was very frustrating. It’s way to narrow to move any vehicle, including my small sedan. Also you can’t get into the lobby for coffee without ringing a bell outside. I get up early, around 5, so no one showed up then. I returned at 6 and rang the bell again. Someone eventually unlocked the door.

The location was great. Right off of the highway so you have easy access to the freeways. I was visiting with family in different spots on the shoreline so the location worked out great.

It was a motel, but that was my fault. As a single female traveler I do not like room to open onto street. I was so pleased at the cleanliness and comfort, but a little dated.

There was no coffee provided in the room. Some technical difficulty made checking in more time consuming than expected.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. In spite of being near 1-95 and Route 1, it was very quiet. The location was perfect for my purposes of visiting family and for errands both in Branford and Guilford.
