Breakfast could have been better if it had started at 0730 instead of 0800, when I already wanted to be headed toward the mountain.

The room was quite small, but very quiet and comfortable. Just a shower, but the hot tub was a definite plus after a day on the slopes.

Sometimes internet doesn’t work well. Some furniture should be changed. Floor wasn’t clean enough for a family with small child.

Great location, friendly staff, nice small breakfast included (muffins, eggs, apples, oranges, yogurt, coffee), cozy fireplace, great bed.

The setup at the room is outdated but functional, things are a bit worn out.

The location is perfect if the goal is to ski at Canyon Lodge of Mammoth, it’s about two blocks away from the lifts. The on-site restaurant has very nice food, try the elk rack and the venison in red wine.

Electrical equipment in the room was a bit questionable. Had to fight with the fridge socket to get it to work. Had to move the coffee maker around to find a socket and the heating unit was unplugged (although we did not need it). Also hot tub water seemed a bit old, maybe worth changing it.

Excellent location close to Canyon Lodge. Can walk to the ski lifts. Be cautious of early season conditions if they exist. We had no issues but I can see how it may not be ideal if the chairs at Canyon are closed. Also hot tub was nice, rooms clean and quiet, and staff friendly.

No real breakfast, just grab-and-go type of service. The nearby lifts aren't open, so still need to drive to the main lodge to take the lifts, this devalued the location advantage greatly. So for early season stay, maybe call in advance to confirm the advantage of the location.

Staff, cleaness, location, value for money. I booked the queen room, it's very cheap comparing to other hotels given the location, but can't really take advantage of it because the lifts aren't open, would consider otherwise if I know this ahead of time.

There is a restaurant in de basement of the hotel, it's not cheap but provides a decent meal. You also have the option to go to the entrance of Mammoth lakes for a dinner, but it is a little drive.

Great location, nice staff and a jacuzzi under the stars. What more do you need?

The rooms are tired and lighting not very good. Bathroom and bedding were great though.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful. I needed to make some calls as my mobile was not working and they were really accommodating. The bar and food in the bar were fabulous. We went out of ski season, but if you were going skiing it would be perfect for a ski lift.

This is only a minor issue as the property is older so there are no lifts and carrying our suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs was a bit of a workout, but we did it.

The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, however it was the onsite restaurant that was the stand out. Food and service were great!

Did not charge resort fee I commented about the lack of air conditioning in my room. When I returned later there was a portable unit set up and running in my room! Class!!
