Historical interest, loved new bathroom, quiet, owners very friendly and accommodating. I missed breakfast but had muffins, yummy. Despite the hot weather you had temperature control in your room!

Loved the Victorian vibe. It was comfortable and little room for improvement

Delightful staff that were very welcoming and hospitable. Excellent location. Our room had some water views. Complimentary tea and coffee were a hit. The front porch is a great spot to relax and the morning breakfasts were a gastronomic wonderland of melody.

There wasn't anything we didn't like except for perhaps the fact that they book up so quickly, we hoped to return there next year and the year after but will need to wait and see if there are cancellations. It's obviously a very popular place and we definitely can see why!

Everything about this Barrister's Bed & Breakfast was fantastic! The owners were warm, welcoming, informative, and shared in great conversations with us. The breakfast was amazing, and there were also cookies and beverage available the rest of the day. The accomodations were cozy, comfortable, charming and also elegant - the style of the Bed & Breakfast building as well as all of the decor was also gave the feel of being back in the time of "It's a Wonderful Life" which isd why we were staying there {the annual festival celebrating the movie and it's connections to the area). The parking was on site and plentiful and the B&B was close enough to downtown for us to walk to everything we participated in while there.

My spouse would have liked a TV in the room, but sitting in the main living room and meeting the other guests was fine with me.

Diane our host, was so friendly and had lots of literature to share about the area as well as several coupons for wine tasting. The 3-course breakfasts were fabulous, no need to eat until dinner.

Only thing I would change is they should put some sort of divider to the neighboring properties because the neighboring properties were unkempt.

Room was really comfortable. Our room was not huge, but well thought out, and the bathroom was recently redone which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms also have split systems which allowed for great temp control. Great front porch and parlor. If you like Victorian decor, you will love this place. Great attention to detail on the interior. Incredible breakfasts.

We liked everything about our stay.

Excellent location, beautiful place, on a pretty street. We could walk to restaurants and some of the sights. Also, the breakfast table (with very good food) was one large table for all and we had some great conversations. We really enjoyed meeting people from different places.

The hosts made us feel at home right from the start. I felt as though I was in my Grandmother’s house. The gourmet breakfasts were a treat each morning. The bedroom had a king bed with an updated bathroom. The restaurants in downtown were just a few minutes walk. Many wineries in the area are just a short drive away. It was a very memorable stay thanks to Ken & Diane.

The hosts Ken and Diane were marvelous, very personable and helpful with attractions in the area. The breakfasts were sumptuous and delicious. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this B&B and we hope to return in the near future.

My stay at Barrister's was one of the best B&B experiences. The weekend I went was a difficult one for me, personally, and being greeted at the door and welcomed in, I immediately felt at ease and at home by Ken and Diane. After a long and tiring car drive, it was very much appreciated. My room was so lovely and such a comfort. I loved the story behind the girl the room was named after and how thoughtfully it was decorated. The remodeled bathroom is very tastefully done with modern fixtures and decorative touches. Everything worked great, hot water ran right away and the shower pressure was perfect. The breakfast was made with love by the cooking and baking duo :) and was delicious and varied each day. I also sat on the front porch each morning, which was delightful. I truly had an exceptional stay and would stay here again if I visited the Finger Lakes.

Breakfast was outstanding. The host’s presentation and description of our locally sourced food was outstanding! We loved being able to visit some of the food sources and take home local cheese and fruit!
