Prime location in a lovely, historic home in downtown Vicksburg. History, restaurants, boutiques,..Great stop for a few days, we were on a deadline, but next time will stay longer. Our host, Andrew was delightful, full of good info and a great cook.

My room was huge! It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Andrew was the perfect host. He was always available if needed, a good cook, and told us the history of the beautiful home. I wish I could give him ten stars! The home is next to the Mississippi River, restaurants, and the Civil War Museum.

We loved everything.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Bazsinsky House. The hosts are fabulous and make you feel right at home. Andrew knows so much history about the property (Vicksburg too) and shares it through conversation and a hearty breakfast he prepares. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. The location is also perfect for exploring all downtown has to offer.,

There was not anything I did not like!

This property exceeded my expectations. It was in a wonderful location, beautiful home, great food! Andrew, the owner was so kind! He offered wonderful suggestions for sightseeing and food. He was a fantastic story teller and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the house.

An amazing stay at Bazsinsky House in Vicksburg! The room was spacious with high ceilings and lots of natural light with views of the river. The renovated bathroom was lovely. The water pressure was perfect and there was plenty of space for toiletries. Breakfast was delicious! Andrew prepared two separate breakfasts, one vegetarian and the other carnivore, to meet our dietary restrictions. He was an excellent host and strived to make sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. We have already booked again for our return trip and are looking forward to our next stay!

There are steps...24 of them to reach your room ... this is clearly stated and not issue for us, but it could be for those with mobility issues...we had no complaints!

Beautiful and charming historic residence that has been fully restored. Centrally located. Andrew was a fantastic host and prepared a lovely breakfast for all. He was happy to accommodate any request and provided great advice on sites to visit and dine.

This was our second time staying at Bazsinky House. This time we brought friends we were traveling with. The host, Andrew, is awesome. As last time, he jumped on the phone and helped us out. He is very well-connected in Vicksburg and we have found it pays off. In this case, we were trying to get through to the Battlefield Park people to schedule a tour and not getting a response. Andrew made a couple of calls and had a guide set up for us within 15 minutes. He is also fun to chat with over breakfast, which was good solid fare. It also doesn't hurt that the room is luxurious, roomy and comfortable. It is our number one option whenever we pass through Vicksburg.

Beautiful home built in 1861. Well maintained and tastefully decorated. Had access to the entire home. Bedroom was large with all the amenities. Host was super friendly and accommodating. He provided an interesting history of the home and its occupants.

Super location and a good recommendation for an ATM and also for dinner where we could watch the sunset. Andrew was such a friendly host and his house is absolutely beautiful. A particular joy was his home-cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and muffins. It was absolutely delicious. The bed was also so comfortable. Thank you Andrew.
