I saw another review mention that the road leading up to the lodge is a bit sketchy (its dirt with a few places that are washing out) and while that is certainly true (not a fan haha) I would NOT let it deter me from coming again. The positives far outweigh this one small negative in my opinion.

I reserved a room here because it's very close to the BRP and we needed a place nearby to crash after a long day of exploring. We LOVED Bent Mountain Lodge and would definitely stay here again. The owners were super nice, check in/out was a breeze and the property is just gorgeous. We had a blast, and I wish that we could have stayed more than one evening. :)

Should make sure customers are aware of the narrow gravel road to the lodge. It wasn’t a problem for our truck.

The property is beautiful is stunning mountain views. The owners are incredibly welcoming and accommodating! They are in the process of renovating some of the areas to make it even more luxurious.

This lodge was such a wonderful place to be we decided to stay an extra night! The views were breathtaking and the location was so peaceful. The owners are very easy going, but everything was immaculate and in great working order.

The breakfast could have been better. Had no quality (low price regular supermarket bread, butter, juice,…) and very little charm arranging it.

Lovely views of the mountains and rooms were nicely done. Had an overnight stop on way to North Carolina and met all our needs. Breakfast was good. Nice restaurant nearby for dinner. Would stay there again.

Well kept. Very comfortable. Beautiful location with an amazing view. The owner was exceptionally attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend for others. Will absolutely visit again if in the area. A perfect place for a wedding, family reunion, or work retreat.

We loved everything about the property. You have to be aware that it is on the top of a mountain so you will have to drive a bit to the nearest restaurant and town. The rooms have soaking tubs and for my older parents it was a little difficult for them to get in and out of the shower.

Wonderful Lodge near Roanoke, David and Ginger were great hosts. The common room is extremely cozy and was great for some reading after a day of hiking.

Beautiful property with views like no other! Hosts are lovely—very welcoming. It felt like we were visiting with friends. Comfortable and nicely updated. Our small dog was in heaven.

For me, this stay was close to perfect. I love that the lodge is in an idyllic setting, it’s stylish, comfortable, friendly, relaxed and fun. Quite a difficult combination to achieve.

Beautiful location and views. The hosts were wonderful providing us with a tour of the property and recommendations for dinner. Our room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast had lots of options. We would love to return again!
