Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWhen we arrived in our room, the regrigerator would not work. I called to report and almost immediately the mtnce fellow was there, checked it and reported a new one was needed. He promptly put in a brand new frig and it was great. The chest of drawers needs to be replaced. The drawers on it would not stay closed, always open. He tried to shim it but they didn't stay. That was frustrating.
The staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was very good and varied, which was nice. Not too important when only spending 1-2 nights. However, with several days, a variety of the breakfast options was very appreciated. The courtyard was lovely and we enjoyed having breakfast there.

United KingdomWe had to check out early due to our flight being changed. We requested this before arriving at hotel but didn’t get a response. We checked it would be ok when we arrived and were told it was not a problem and we only be charged for the nights we were there, we checked again the next day and on checking out. Unfortunately we were then charged for the night we were not able to stay. This was rectified by involving Booking.com but did spoil our impression of the otherwise brilliant hotel.
Lovely hotel, we had a room overlooking the courtyard, which I would recommend. Breakfast was varied and kept topped up, staff were extremely vigilant and very friendly and helpful. Well appointed room and very clean and comfortable.

United States of AmericaBetter lighting in the room. Okay not to have housekeeping every day, but coffee makings? Definitely. Would have been nice to have a Netflix connection available, and more snacks available.
Breakfast was fine, loved the coffee bar. Pool was lovely as was the fountain area. LOVED the way to call for a cab!

Czech RepublicHeavy rain leaked a bit to the room - below the door.
A lovely hotel in the French quarter. Easy walking access to Bourbon Street, Café du Mond and Mississippi river bank. The hotel is structured with an inner yard (very green) and a swimming pool. Good breakfast. Good value for the price.

United States of AmericaAll was great except there is only one small slow elevator, and only one luggage trolley to get your luggage to your room. You need just a little patience and that relaxed southern attitude toward life ...
EXCELLENT location on a quieter edge the French Quarter, and very easy to find. EXCELLENT hot breakfast buffet. Their parking is less expensive than other hotels, and is in their gated lot. Kind desk staff let us park in front of the hotel when we arrived late at night. Lovely courtyard with palms and a small swimming pool. So easy to walk anywhere in the Quarter, which is where we based our stay during the French Quarter Festival.

United KingdomNothing. It was all good.
Pleasant and comfortable hotel on north Rampart street, across the road from Congo Square and within a short walking distance of the historic cemeteries and the French Quarter is just behind it. We had a pool view room, the room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Beds are high and really comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Good breakfast, nice bar and the pool area was lovely and clean.

United States of AmericaParking is tight. [Which I did read from other reviews, and it's on first come first serve] My room could have been cleaned a little better. [There was hair in the shower, dust next to bed table/headboard] My room did not have windows with a pretty view, they opened up to the hallway.
Staff was welcoming and nice. The location was in a good spot. On the main road, in walking distance from Burbon st. But quiet enough so you can relax. Seemed to be best for families, older couples, and people who wanted quiet. Perfect area to walk around The court yard was lovely and had enough seating to eat out there. Pool was clean with lots of towels available (we did not swim, it was too cold for me) Breakfast had many varieties and they switch up the main menu every day. One day we had breakfast jambalaya then we had bacon and French toast, another day was biscuits and gravy. They also have a cappuccino machine with different hot beverages to choose from.

United States of AmericaThe location was great. It was walking distance to the French quarter but quiet and across the street from the hop on hop off bus. Parking was very convenient and although the breakfast was average, it was nice to have it included. There were options for everyone to eat something and get full. The taste of the food was not that great though. Overall, it was a good place to stay but a little expensive for what it was.

SwedenKeep up the good work.
Good size room for the central location. Comfy bed and bedding. Beds on the smaller side so my teenagers were fighting a lot. Bathroom standard. Everything clean. Breakfast with fair amount of choices but short on healthy options. Coffee selection very good. Breakfast area small because of all holiday makers. Very good location with walking distance to everything in the French Quarter and a little bit beyond.

United KingdomAfter 16 hours of travel we arrived at reception to be told our room had been cancelled because whilst we had paid on time, allegedly Booking ,Com had not.. Fortunately they managed to find us a room but it was far from quiet as it was above the laundry room. After 3 days the staff were able to offer us a much better and bigger room. It well appointed and comfortable. The room cleanliness seemed more superficial than well cleaned. Other than that the trip was really good.
The location was excellent and the staff were really friendly and .helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and coffee and tea were always available. This supplemented what was available in the room.

United States of AmericaThe shower you couldnt turn it on without putting you body in yhe way of getting wet. You had to hold toliet handle down until it was all the way down or it wouldnt flush. I had a hair in my eggs. Which can happen anywhere. And we was not able to park to check in. The other person had to just keep circling the block until i was checked in yo open the gate yo park. Parking was a pain and once we parked we didnt want to drive anywhere and have to deal with the parking but it is just the way it is built with poles
It was a good room. We didnt have to deal with the courtyard which was nice

Great location. Glad it is in the French Quarter but also that it’s kind of on the outskirts so I wasn’t right in the middle of NOLA craziness lol. Very private too with great security.
