There was no way to control air-conditioning like other hotels.. so that was a negative.....

The AC in the room did not work at all. I put it at 60 and the heat just kept raising all night. When i woke up in the morning it had went from 68 to 80.

Breakfast was good. Also, the pool was big and the hot tub was nice.

The rooms had hard floors, rather than carpeting. They are easier to clean, but they were cold on the feet and loud. That wasn't a problem, just personal preference.

Breakfast was delicious and I especially liked that it stayed open until mid-morning. The hotel was very clean, the staff accommodating, and it had charm.

I didn't find anything that I didn't like. I wish I would've known the pool was closed the first day I was there.

The just just a usual continental breakfast. I did like the fact that it was served in the restaurant.

We didn't know at the time that the Air Conditioning was turned off when we booked. It would have been fine with everything turned off, but for some reason it kept blowing heat into our room and it was 82° per the wall thermostat and would not cool off even though we had everything turned to off. Then when we got a shower it turned our room into a personal sauna.... but that did not diminish everything else about our stay. The hotel was nice, the staff was nice. It would be great to stay again, as long as there's AC.

The pool area and breakfast area were so nice! The hotel looks dated but that's the theme/charm of it all and we were OBSESSED! Our room was clean. Super close to a highway, and really close to the strip mall and tons of food options.

We were not greeted with a smile or a welcome at all. No friendly greetings in passing either. When turning in our room cards, there was no thank you for staying or come again soon.

The faculty itself was very interesting in design. The location was good & it was clean.

The location was quite noisy at times - goods trains rumbling past and a truck park adjacent to the hotel.

The restaurant, bar, swimming pool and free parking were excellent. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Lots of interesting facts and old photos displayed along the corridors.

There was a hole in the floor of the pool with loose shards.

The waitress at Mugly's had some difficulties. She got our drink order wrong twice and we got the wrong pizza. However the bar tender made up for it. The breakfast on Friday had no meat and ran out of things.

Onsite restaurant and indoor pool with hot tub. Comfortable pillows. A love seat in the room. The photos in the hallways. Location. So close to Henry Ford Museum.

The Internet was a bit spotty at times, but I think that was just a temporary issue as I was able to get on later.

Pretty much everything! It’s a historic building that has been updated yet still maintains its old fashion polished wood look. Rooms were large and comfortable and the connected restaurant had a variety of food options with the most delicious fries and meals I’ve had in a while. Amazing pool and massive Jacuzzi hot tub as well as a nicely stocked Snack bar. Staff was amazing too!
