Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It seems hotel could use some updates. Room air conditioning noisy, there was no safe.
Location peaceful and not too far from everything by car. Staff friendly. Room very clean, spacious and with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Good, free wifi. Breakfast good.

Possible ink stains on our bedsheets, bedspring had like one or two strands of hair. other than that quite clean.

They charged me twice to two different credit cards within a six hour period after I had advised that I wasn’t going to use the credit card I booked with but instead paid with another credit card yet they went ahead and billed my other booking credit card. I am waiting for a refund of $190.

Nothing that I really didn't like. I mean the rooms could use a little updating but for the price, it was good. I would like some better breakfast but again it wasn't too bad
For the price it was very nice. They only had a $20 pet fee, so that is why we chose this hotel. The room was nice but nothing special. Nice to have breakfast in the morning. I think they also have an airport shuttle

The listing for the hotel lists an Airport Shuttle as an amenity. I was standing on the curb while all other hotel shuttles picked up multiple times and eventually called the hotel to inquire where the shuttle was. I was informed the shuttle runs every 30 min but you 'have to order it', so I did. I ended up waiting 40 min for a pick up and 5 min into the ride the driver received a call from the hotel demanding that she turn around to pick another guest. We (the driver plus 6 passengers) turned around and due to traffic we were in the shuttle for an additional hour. Overall a nightmare experience after a long travel day. There were no cabs and the airport had a wifi disruption (This was on Sep 14) so rideshare was not an option.
The hotel was nice, hotel staff were polite and made sure to book me and a fellow travelling couple a Lyft ride to get to the airport upon checkout. There was supposed to be a shuttle running - no explanation was given as to why it was not running, but since it was proactively resolved by a lovely front desk agent, I have no complaints about the transportation from the hotel to the airport.

Emailed to pre-sign check-in [done] then get a call to ask if we’re actually turning up [yes] then have to do all the paperwork on arrival anyway [again??] and told we’d already been pre-charged for the first night like were low rate guests??? FFS. We are repeat guests but don’t feel like it. When we visited in April 2023 we felt like special guests but in July not-so-much

The only thing was the weather made it hard to walk around cause it was hot.
