Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe outside of the hotel is dirty and run down looking - I was worried when we first pulled up. Inside is clean but old and could definitely use some updating. The elevators are terrible - only one was working. We were on the 6th floor and it took 5 minutes for the elevator because it stopped at every floor even though no one had pushed the button on those floors. I only saw two employees the length of our stay. Overall, it was fine for 1 night and the convenience of being right next to the Tacoma dome was great.
Property location is perfect for a concert at the Tacoma Dome.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was a small 4 oz juice, a granola bar and a small apple. If I had known we would not have booked. Was not informed upon check in, we found out the hard way.
The property has great proximity to the Tacoma dome.

United States of AmericaNo hot water in the shower. No maintenance staff onsite. Had to use another room to shower. No offer to compensate inconvenience. Front desk was responsive, which I appreciated. Recommend making sure all door locks are locked!. Had someone trying enter twice.
Convenient location, but plan around Tacoma Dome events.

SwedenI think the place has gone a little downhill since my last stay. They used to have a sturdy breakfast buffet, but it was a fixed. Yeah, made to order, but not that fantastic. There was not really a adbundance of hot water in the shower, but the lady at the front desk mentioned something about problems with pipes and heater. But apart from that, it was OK for one night.
Since I'm coming with the bus from SeaTac and continuing with the train in the morning, the location is excellent.

New ZealandIt took us 30 minutes to check in (we understand that you are understaffed more than likely due to Covid). The room was dirty. Specifically, there was lots of heavy dust on the A.C. vent and there were a pair of socks from another customer left under the couch.
Your staff was friendly and efficient. Clearly you are understaffed though because they were clearly working really hard.

United KingdomQuite a loud area, which I didn't mind but some might. Some distance from downtown Tacoma.
The room was fine - reasonably spacious, and with all the facilities you would expect. Good secure parking garage (included in the price). Good location just off the I-5 and very near the Tacoma Dome.

United States of AmericaThe facet in the bathroom looked like it was falling apart but it worked just fine no problems with functionality. Elevators took a while/ended up breaking our last day, but they were quick to respond and get someone out to fix them.
The customer service we experienced was great, Jeffery and Aaron that worked the desk were so helpful and friendly. They were quick to answer questions and get solutions to any problems people were having. The underground locked parking was such a nice bonus we didn't realize was there. Room was nice and clean.

United States of AmericaThe first room was still not made up. He sent us to a second room, it had no air conditioning. We were then upgraded to a suite and then the refrigerator didn't work, I had food. We then got upgraded to a penthouse on the 6th floor and the next morning the elevator went out.
Jeffrey was an exceptional employee. He was all by himself and was pure joy.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was one of my reasons for choosing this facility. At check in I was informed they no longer provided a free breakfast. But that I could purchase it with 20% off. The room was horrible. No air conditioning, it didn't work and a vent cover was off. The toilet didn't flush. I went to the front desk and was then given another room. At least everything worked in the room. The ice machine on the floor did not work at all the duration of my stay.
The staff is the only reason I did not give a worse rating. Very friendly and accommodating.

United States of AmericaMy gym shoes went missing and so did my husband baseball cap. Also we were unable to get into our room due to the new system so the front desk and security had to let us in/out. it was a guest who was being very obnoxious breaking the pictures and just all over the place destroying the property. Finally the front desk called the police to have him removed.
I love best was the restaurant located inside of the hotel. Blue Tacos the owner Javier and his daughter Melanie. please go see them. Also the security I can’t remember his name but he was also absolutely wonderful. We were having a problem with our room so the nice security upgrade us to the King suite. Thank y’all so much

United States of AmericaThe toilets were very low and difficult to get on and off. I am disabled so it was extra difficult for me. The bathroom was small so I had to leave my walker outside of the bathroom. Also, the breakfast area was not ADA compliant since you had to go up steps to get to the food. The first day, other guests had to bring me food since there was only one gentleman cooking, serving and also running the front desk. The second day, my husband ate with me so he helped me up and down the steps
The beds were comfortable. I am disabled and getting in and out of bed was very easy for me. It was close to where we needed to be for the dance competition.
