The quiet location even though beside the road. It was a calm and restful stop. We had to drive a short distance to a nearby town for an evening meal but that was ok and the food excellent. We wished we could have explored more around the place in daylight.

Convenient location to Hunter, Wyndam or Belleayre mountains. One of the few economical dog friendly hotels in the area. Rooms are larger than typical hotel, with fridge and microwave. The larger rooms have full kitchen with fully stocked utensils which would be wonderful if traveling with kids. What I love about this location is that the grounds back up to a hiking trail to a stream, so my dog loved it, especially with the fresh snow. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating!

Kim was very accommodating. there was a bad rain storm and electricity was out before our arrival. she called me and directed us to a motel for the night where she made arrangements for us. The next morning we arrived at 8 am and she had our room ready. The location was close to hunter mountain and kaaterskill falls, very reasonably priced. would stay again!

Not that I didn’t like it but I do kinda wish I knew in advance that there wasn’t much, if any, cell service. Wasn’t a huge deal, was just expecting a phone call so I had to drive to a nearby area down the road that had some service otherwise the no service wasn’t an issue since there was wifi!

The WiFi isn't very good especially when trying to research things to do in the area as there is no phone reception. It's right on the road so it's a little loud to just enjoy the piece of the place. We had a stove in our room that set the smoke detectors off so was hard to cook and no fly wire screen on door to leave open. Not sure why it's called a lodge more like a motel.

Kim was so nice providing and places to go. Beautiful creek behind.

While the place is nicely located in the woods, it is clean enough for a night stay when lost. It does not justify the rate per night for what it has to offer.

I think this place is way over price for what it has to offer. It may justify for winter time but not for summer time.

Units had disgusting looking rusted shower parts, the TV is placed behind the beds making it impossible to use, neighbors had dogs that sometimes barked

The wifi sometimes was down, but the location is not easy to set up internet.

Great quiet location, and free parking. Old fashioned, but very cozy room. Good coffee, welcoming staff, fire pit available, close to the river. We enjoyed our stay!
