Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe parking situation seemed unclear. It says there is dedicated parking, but the driveway had a car from next door in it. We parked on the street. This could be clarified in the listing.
Great location and proximity to downtown and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Having a washer and dryer during the trip was great. Very cute and comfortable place to stay.

United StatesThere is only one bathroom....no false advertising. It is on the first floor, while the bedrooms are on the second floor. If you, like me, need to go in the middle of the night you will need to navigate the stairs.
This is like vacation rentals used to be. Some real person lived here. It is nicely appointed, attractive and comfortable. Within a couple blocks of downtown with cafes and bars. Neat and tidy neighborhood. One of us left an iPad behind and the host was terrific in finding it and reassuring us they will send it back. I would return to this place over and over again.

United StatesWe were traveling home from vacation in California and had to stop unexpectedly in Montrose due to a snow storm in the mountains. It was just after lunchtime, very cold outside, and we needed a place to stay with our dog. We booked the Blue Bungalow, which turned out to be perfect. She let us checkin immediately. The yard is fully fenced (6 ft privacy fence in back & side) with a doggie door to the side yard. There was coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and even doggie treats available in the kitchen. The house is very cute inside and out. We were comfortable, warm, and enjoyed our afternoon and overnight there. I don’t recommend this house if you have difficulty with stairs. The stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are steep. There is a pullout sofa and bathroom downstairs.

United StatesHaving one bathroom was a little challenging.
We loved our stay at the Blue Bungalow! Very cozy and Great decor with lots of nice little touches, full kitchen, and comfy beds. Plenty of games including Montrose-opoly, record player and records, and books. We only stayed one night but seems like the hosts thought of everything for a longer stay. Also, we didn’t have our dogs with us but with all the thoughtful things for dogs, we wished we did. We’d definitely book the Blue Bungalow again if we’re in the area.

United StatesWe’re in our 70’s and the stairs up to the bedrooms were a little too much for my wife and I. There’s only one bathroom and up and down the stairs in the middle of the night was a little warring. It would be perfect for younger couples though.
It is the cutest, most well stocked rental house we’ve ever stayed at.

GermanyOne bedroom gets pretty warm in the morning due to sun exposure. Also, we had an issue with the toilet being clogged. This was fixed the same day, but was still an inconvenience. In that regard, we also got a snarky comment about the cleanliness of the house which was not only unnecessary but also very exaggerated (we obviously didn’t wanna clean dishes with the drain being blocked).
It’s a small and cosy house that has everything you need. The patio in the backyard is a great feature as well.

United StatesWe loved it and it suited us fine. However, there is only one bathroom (found on the first floor) and the bedrooms can only be accessed by stairs, which may not suit guests who have mobility issues.
Perfect location. It is in walking distance to restaurants yet is in a quiet residential neighborhood. This charming house is very close to Tesla superchargers. We stayed only overnight since we were in Montrose for a morning event.
